    morning

I ahve a question about closing a aquacard. Hubby's balance transfer went through this monring and a balance left of £50 on it. His balance was £500 but new card said would take 2-3 weeks for balance transfer so left £50 as thought we would have to make this months payment and if new card did full balance would have left us in credit. Hope that makes sense lol

So once bill come in will owe £50+ interest which will be paid in full. Can we then close aquacard right away once they payment goes through or would we be better waiting until next bill with £0 owing , will there be any interest still owed from day bill generated until day bill paid?

I remember once trying to close a CC that I had just paid balance on and them saying to wait as a little interest owed nad the next month owed about £1 lol

Wait until you have a zero balance on your statement before closing

Am I crazy? My mother has gone to Spain for two weeks, so it's just me (18) and my brother (20). My brother has just told me he's having 'friends' over on Saturday. I hate his friends, I never get any sleep, they always have music loud and it turns into a full blown party.

I'm thinking of booking into a travelodge for Saturday night. It's £50... I don't want to stay with friends or family either, so I might just book it. I'm working 3pm till 10pm on Saturday and the travelodge is right next to work, so I can walk out of work at 10pm, straight into a nice comfy room.

    Waste of money much?...

    A Level results tomorrow.

Good luck with your A Level Results

    Thanks. I got...

    Single ICT - B
    Double ICT - B
    Media Studies - D

I was 1 mark off an A in Single ICT, so redoing one bit of it to get the A. Hopefully I'll be able to study Psychology in 2010 at a half decent University, but for now, I've got a secure job for a year. :)
