I think I have just been accepted for the Next account, could it possibly be true. I applied over the phone and she said okay that is all done you should receive it by 15th August. Has anybody else had this and then they have never arrived.

Well I booked my car in for a service yesterday and today I got the verdict. I need to spend over £600 to fix the damn thing. Thank God I just cleared my credit card!

I think I am officially NO LONGER sub prime! I mentioned that I applied for a mainstream Co-Operative card a month ago and was turned down, well I applied for a MBNA Play card a week or so after and my card has just arrived. As I hadn't heard anything I thought I had been unsuccessful but I am so chuffed that I got accepted.

I have 0.00% balance transfers, cheque transactions and money transfers until February 2010 and 0.00% for card puchases until May 2010. The APR is 15.9% after this. My credit limit is £4000 and they even asked me if I would like it to be put up when I phoned to activate the card!

I am super excited. I shall be keeping my FlyBe and definitely closing my Vanquis (was just waiting on the final statement anyway as I have nothing owing on it).

    Hi all,

I have a Jacamo and a JD Williams account. Both have £125 limits.

Both are set on DD for the minimum payment to reduce the interest incase I cant afford to pay the remainder of the balance. I have spent a little on each account and was just wondering how often they review credit limits?

Also do they report back to any of the dodge pots that we call credit reference agencies?

    Many thanks

    Matt
