I have read what happened to you a few times on the forum, no idea why that happens. Unless they are updating and it doesn't show the status of your new account. Sure, somone will do a definite on this topic.0 -
you may still keep your old card or get a nice black one like meHi Everyone,
Does anyone know what card you get with the Barclays Premier Life account?
I went into branch today and threatened to close my standard current account (over a load of problems I have had with them) and they offered me an upgrade to Premier Life.
Is it worth the £17.50 they want from me?
If anyone has a pic of the card, can i have a look?
Cheers

I paid £100 to Littlewoods from my Debit Card, and £200 from my Aqua Credit Card to pay off Littlewoods completely. Is the £200 going to be classed as a cash withdrawal, as I'm paying a credit account with a credit card?
The payment went through and was accepted, and balance is sitting at £0 on Littlewoods, so it must have accepted it.0 -

No. It goes through as a purchase transaction. I have done it a few times also. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Great. That's all of Littlewoods paid off then. Just got to pay Aqua in full again on the next statement and then o2's final £180.
Going debt free??
Would like to join you but I'm trying to resist the strong urges of sticking a £450 mobile phone on my credit card and I don't know how much longer I can resist. :eek:We’ve had to remove your signature. Yup. I owed out so much, so decided every penny I was getting over the last few months was going to the debt. Paid of all the CC's, Littlewoods, what I owed family. Now I owe £180 on Aqua and £180 to o2 to cancel an iPhone contract that is in my mothers name but never used as I have one in my own name.
Get paid again on the 15th August, so that will be my debt free date.

Elkey, just noticed your limit with Vanquis:eek: is that their maximum limit? I only got £250 and spent £12 so far, just testing it out.
£450 a lot for a phone, unless you can work it with your credit cards, get up to 56 days to pay it back:p0
