got a question could someone offer some advice

i paid my mint cc ontime on the day it was supposed to be recieved alls well

i then looked online afew days later to see they had charged me a late fee but then on the same day they credited my account with the late fee i didn't phone or even know about this but they must have realised they made a mistake and refunded it within a few hrs of the intial fee being taken.

am i right in thinking if someone is late this could affect there credit worthyness from other cc is this information passed on and how quickly ?

should i phone to make sure they see this as there mistake not mine or is the correction enough to stop any adverse affect on my credit file

    thanks

Sometimes it can take 3 days to reach the benificarys account..........

It is more likelt to affect your internal score, i.e less increases ect.

Data of late payments isn't passed to the CRA unless the payment is still "LATE" after the next statement date

My credit card seems to update the CRA's about 8 weeks in arrears. Perhaps worth checking your files in a couple of months to see.

    Another 3% shaved off 10/12/08
