Am new to this forum, but thought would share this with you guys !! Applied for a Accessory card, and guess what got the decline letter yesterday :mad::mad:
Do agree have got a default in my account but the rest of my file is like clean with loads of greem 0's, and the default too is for a low amt !!
The reason for my post here is don't understand 1 thing, that applied for 5 catalogues (2 SDG and 2 JDwilliams Grp and 1 freemans), and got all of them in the past month, however as soon it comes to credit cards don't seem to get any, though have to admit that already have 3 ccs!!
Is it that catalogues are easy to get than ccs?? or is it that since already have had too many searches in the last month coupled with the Default marker in my credit file is the reason why accessory rejected me !!0 -

Thats nothing new mate, Sygma bank issue the accessory card and they are hit-and-miss. They search Equifax, JD Williams search Experian so maybe one file is better than the other?just_about wrote: »Do agree have got a default in my account but the rest of my file is like clean with loads of greem 0's, and the default too is for a low amt !!
The default is the issue - stop applying til we sort that mate - just be good for a few weeks! For others reading - default is being dealt with here: #541
The default amount doesn;t matter - it's still a default at the end of the day.just_about wrote: »The reason for my post here is don't understand 1 thing, that applied for 5 catalogues (2 SDG and 2 JDwilliams Grp and 1 freemans), and got all of them in the past month, however as soon it comes to credit cards don't seem to get any, though have to admit that already have 3 ccs!!

You got it in one, the catalogues you quoted are all easy to get and are classed as sub-prime. If you get one JD account you can end up with loads (ask Brian1966 for proof!) likewise with SDG. As for Freemans they are Otto Group, slightly different but still easy.2010 - year of the troll
