Experian added me within 3 weeks, Equifax is well over 2 months now. If I'm not added by the middle of the month I'm going to moan again too them.

I hope so. I have 2 satisfied defaults on Experian and loads of searches maybe 19 for actual applications. Out of which 15 were made between August and October last year!! :o

I really hope so Brian, all those green 0's and only 2 satisfied defaults 1 on Equifax must stand me with a great chance of getting a credit card with Vanquis or Aqua.

Capital One recently turned me down though, I'm thinking it's becasue I had an old (paid) debt.
Vanquis puzzles me as to why they wont accept you, that said I had been turned down prior to being successful.
Cap 1 are a law unto themselves, people with unpaid previous debts to them get accepted with high limits, others only get a couple of hundred or a refusal.
    Crazy world of credit
For what it's worth though, Shop direct turn loads away :D

I used to hold a Premier account with Barclays but I cancelled as I thought the £25.00 a month I was paying would be better used being put towards reducing my debt levels.

I got a nice surprise though when they told me my premier card would be replaced with a connect card when it expires in 2012:D

Unfortunately, it's mostly computerized (then underwriter), therefore the computer doesn't see it as someone who doesn't understand how it works, rather someone who is desperate for credit.

Saying that, I applied for both CapitalOne, Vanquis and Aqua all within a week. Got declined for CapitalOne, but accepted for Vanquis and Aqua at £250/35%.

I applied for 2 of my credit cards one day and the other the next day and got accepted for all 3. Don't think there is a method to their madness really :rotfl:
