I'm not no. I'm going to apply for things in September when some of my searches disappear.

Got my HSBC Plus card today. It's not CG though, but not too bothered as I have never had to guarantee a cheque in my life. I only write cheques out to family. My Barclays connect card also came, but that's just gone in the draw. Also only have 1 direct debit left with Lloyds, then everything is changed to HSBC.

Just paid £10 to my capitalone card to bring the ballance down from £88 to £78. Still owe £130 on Vanquis (All cash advances) and £180 on Aqua (All purchases). Trying to get them both cleared ASAP. 4th statement on both Aqua and Vanquis this month, so maybe a credit raise.

Nope, just a standard connect card.

My Brother has just opened a Lloydstsb account and they never sent him a cheque guarantee card either. It seems they don't issue them on new accounts anymore.

I have accounts with Lloyds for a few years (started with an under 19's account, now got classic) and have never had a CG card. I don't really care if my cards are CG anyway, as I'd never use it.

I wonder how you can tell the difference between a "full debit card" and an "all-auth" card?

The one I've got was written as 'Visa Electronic Connect Card' on the order form. It's probably a full auth electron card, just with connect instead of electron... not bothered though as I'm not using it. It's living in the draw. :p

So it's like the one I have with Barclays.
