    Hi all

Hubby has just completed the online application for a Capital One card, signed the online agreement etc, do you have to wait for them to get in touch before you know if you've been accepted or not?

Its not clear from the final page!

    thanks

thanks for your reply. It just said somebody would be doing some additional checks which would take up to 7 working days.

Do they not do immediate refusals on their website? it seems a little misleading to take you to sign the credit agreement etc.

    Or maybe thats just me.....:o

I know o2 had issues with certain IP Address ranges - could this be the issue?

Whatever the issue was I can now get on creation on my home broadband connection so guessing they had just changed servers and it was a matter of filtering through the system.

On the down side I drifted over my credit limit and have a £12 charge now (back within limit now though as a payment was pending clearing onto the account when I drifted over)

    Hi guys,

Good news today, called Capital One after my Vanquis application was refused at the weekend, and guess what, I have been accepted!!

My credit agreement is winging its way to me in the post apparently. £500.00 provisional limit which will increase on my 4th statement as long as I stay within the credit limit. Was so excited forgot to ask about the APR but will update you all when it comes through.

    What a day, woo hoo!

Congrats, help yourself to a glass of bubbly!

Applied for a Barclays loan on Monday wanted 4k but got the decline letter today!

So rang to ask on what grounds did i get turned down on, she said it was the internel credit search that i failed and the major factor was only being a customer for 3 months.

She said apply again in 6 months and i should get accepted if i keep running my account like i have been, she said i should apply for a credit card as she thought i would get accepted for that!

So i applied online and got accepted for the Barclays initial.

    Nice one :D
