Went in at 16 (both parents had died by then) was in Ireland before my 17th birthday. We used to get petrol bombed just walking the streets, women screaming at you, men wanting to fight you, not the nicest place to be but I survived and am happy to have done my 'little bit' :beer:

Dad died at 14, never ill, massive heart attack, Mum died at 16, perforated ulcer, died in my arms. Had already signed up then and started basic training, got compssionate leave when mum took ill on the Wednesday, Thursday night she died. Sad, very sad but made me stronger, did my stint in I reland knowing they would both be so proud of their little boy who done good

Yes, you're parents would be massively proud of you. Can see why you live life to the full.

I live for today, with half an eye on the the future Nothing special, got paid to do a job, kept my head down and made it back Everytime I jump in my coach it's the same, never know 100% that the day will be trouble free.

It pays the bills.. like driving to a degree but can be a pain in the ar*e at times.
Want a job which takes me to North London :rotfl:
