Oh, I do have another question.

I am not acknowledging the debt. Can they still bring a CCJ against me or do I have to take responsibility for it in order for that to happen? Their letters threaten that, bailiffs, legal action, etc but nothing has happened yet...despite me having moved house a few times the last few years.

Though under OFT guidelines they are not supposed to take any enforcement action whilst a debt is in dispute

Ok...I guess they all threaten it...I just don't want to end up with a CCJ as I do not have any debts!! (My overdraft isn't in dispute or an issue).

They would need to take you to court and give a date to reply a dispute then they go to court to issue a ccj if not disputed. But if over the 5/6 years then they will be unable to do this.

I think the debts were run up in 2006 if I remember rightly. Thanks again. They've been threatening me for more than a year so far...

if they do it at your old house and issue a ccj there you can not dispute it as you do not get the mail that how i got a ccj

I have a question about Statue Barred. My example with o2 sitting at 6's for the last 5 and a half years without defaulting and actually chassing the debt, can I still send a Statue Barred letter and do they remove the data from the CRA's or just stip putting more on each month?
