are you going to try f/direct in 6 months?
think ive got 10 searches dropping of my ex this month

I might do, however I'm happy with Lloyds TSB at the moment, and in 6 months time, I should be able to get an overdraft and CC with Lloyds. I change my mind a lot, so I'll see in 6 months. :p

    Hya Guys,

Been reading your threads for a while now and can see that you might be able to give me a bit of advice on credit and where I can get it...

I applied to Halifax for a CC and got declined
I applied to Capital One and got declined

I'm waiting on a response from Vanquis...

This is what I have currently:-

Barclays Premier Acc OD £1120 - Halifax Reward Acc OD £250.00 Tesco CC £400 - Great Universal £650 - Choice £650 Barclays loan £2648 Barclays loan £2371

Whats the eaisest place to get credit?

Yep I've subscribe to credit expert:-

Number of credit accounts (including those settled).................................14
Amount of available credit (excluding mortgages)............................£3,589
% of your total credit being used (excluding mortgages)..................35%
Amount of outstanding debt (excluding mortgages and defaults)......£6,990
    Number of accounts overdue.........................................................0
Number of missed or late repayments in the last year......................0

I've had 9 searches in the last three months, and currently not on the electoral role (sorting this out)

They had given me a credit score of 125 which is prety poor

Do you have any CCJ or Defaults?

Not being on the electoral role can warrant a decline straight away in some companies. You need to get yourself on the ER. Also, 9 searches in 3 months is a lot. It makes it look like you're desperate for credit. Try and leave it 3-6 months before applying again, otherwise you're just making your credit report worse.

to them with the recent searches it may look like desperation.also the cap one and vanquis will look like your going backwards.
the searches are having more affect than the e/roll.
get on the e/r.wait 3/6 months and you will be fine.
or try barclays to extend your loan, let some searches age first though

I don't have CCJ's or any defaults and the electoral roll was a mistake by the council which their sorting out. Haven't been on since I moved in nearly two years ago:eek: Only noticed because I got credit expert.

The searches were from Halifax, capone, vanquis, The council and my catalogues.

Spoke to barclays and they said there was no offers availble on my account at the moment.
