Tesco stopping voucher redemption for non-purchased items?

I use my Tesco point voucher to gain extra points so when I do the deals I have extra on my card. Did you know you can have several clubcards at one address ? why, you may ask ........ well because if you sign up for every Tesco club eg healthy living etc, you will get say 4 times as many vouchers, if you have 4 clubcards (I have a Tesco credit card, hubby has a clubcard, I have my own clubcard and daughter has her own one too). Some, if not all the vouchers can then be used, eg double points etc.

Last mailing I had £1,000 in deals which I spent at MFI, got a set of pine bunk beds, 2 mattresses, king size mattress and king size bedstead and a computer chair, all courtesy of Tescos and their clubcard deals.

I am fortunate that my store will take money off vouchers without buying the product although nearby stores will flatly refuse. A;though, no Tesco store I have come across will take internet printed vouchers

Has anyone had problems using the Waitrose Pizza voucher in the self scan at Tesco SA said they can't get the money back although they do scan.
