Sometimes the phone discounts have to be triggered by the till assistant, which means that it could just be a one off. Would be interesting to know if anyone has had the same result with this phone.0

Sorry if this is a silly question but how would you get the DTD back on the pizzas when shopping online? Should you wait until the order is delivered then contact them?

Never mind, 2 for £5 on the pizzas is a good deal for me anyway as ds eats loads of them! I'll just have to email Tesco and ask them to take the extra off. Thanks0 -

While i was waiting for the refund, the supervisor came and checked which till operator served me....and it turned out to be the CS Manager!!!
Apparently the till had not triggered the discount.:beer:0 -

WENT TO TESCO EXTRA TODAY WITH THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING SAMSUNG GENIO TOUCH FOR £79.97. SEL SAID SPEND £25 OR MORE ON SHOPPING, NOT INCLUDING PHONE AND BUY PHONE FOR £54.97. SOUNDED A GOOD DEAL SO I DUELY FILLED MY TROLLEY AND WENT TO THE TILL. BILL TOTALLED £116 WITH PHONE. CHECKED RECEIPT AND NO DISCOUNT FOR PHONE.
SPOKE TO NICE CS LADY WHO, ONCE POINTED OUT THAT I QUALIFIED FOR DTD, REFUNDED ME £50. SO I ENDED UP WITH A NICE TROLLEY FULL OF SHOPPING + THE PHONE FOR £66!:j:j:j:j:j:j:rotfl::rotfl::T:T:T:T
Not all tesco have got the same promotion, think the SEL must of been old.
I have just checked two of my main stores and the only SAMSUNG GENIO TOUCH they had was on vodaphone and was priced @ £89.97 with the saving if you spend £25 instore you can get it cheaper for £64.97.
I did not bother in trying out on this one as i did not spend £25 instore.
But good find well done :T0 -
Nice one re: Samsung Genio. Well done.
This ain't a DTD, but I did not notice a lot of the 200 extra points when you buy 2 ink cartridges and 200 extra points when you buy certain phones (Samsung E1360/ VX1 Party Phone) labels still on even though they ended on 2/5/2010. I was going to get 2 VX1's anyway, so went to CS to have 400 points put on even though the offer was closed.
Therefore keep your eyes peeled for SEL price labels in store as some may not have been changed, which could lead to a DTD.0
