Yesterday, I purchased a big packet of swizzels lollies (bright pink bag) for the kids.

SEL said £1 but got charged £1.74 (or thereabouts).

The £1 was for a promotional pack, but shelf was stocked with ordinary ones.

DD given, not asked for, and it makes the lollies about 30p.

I check my receipt religiously now, thanks to this thread, so thanks everyone. This is the first mistake I have spotted!

Pizza Express pizzas are buy 2 for £5. This also includes the large ones at £4.99 each. Bought 2 large American pepperoni and no discount so got DTD of nearly £10 making the pizzas almost free.

Checked in another local store and shelves empty but not all the large pizzas had the yellow offer label but they did in the store where the offer didn't work :D

Double the differnce. if something says it is £7.00 on shelf label and you get charged £10.00 for it at the till you take your reciept to customer services they should refund you £6.00 which is the £3.00 diffrence x 2 and also you keep the item.:D

How on earth did you manage to get it free + £4.40.

    I make it a £14.70 overcharge making DTD £29.40
So game should have cost you £10.30

    Well done !

I always used to do that. Think I'd got something free and then realise I'd actually forgotten to consider the overcharge. Still all DTD's are a win :D
