Has anyone noticed how quiet it's been on the newspaper conditional spend vouchers from the leading supermarkets? Come on, I need some proper shopping!! Maybe they are all hanging fire until the Big Reveal concerning Tesco' new marketing strategy?

I located some Barbie "back to school" with the half price sticker on them SEL stated £25 and in store scanner not working so I didn't feel like risking it. I don't need them so I'd just have donated them to charity / children's ward though. Picked up some Honey Shreddies and Campbells condensed soup. Both free with coupons so it's not a wasted trip. Oh I also got the Panasonic Panasonic KX-TG5521 phone on Monday so quite a good week so far.

Be careful with these now - from the Barbie School thread:

I have just got back from Mr T and there "maybe" a gammon steak glitch/problem, as I paid at the ciggy counter for my milk and paper CS staff were scanning a packet of gammon steaks (smaller than the usual big round gammon steaks and looked "posher") several times and trying to work out "why it does that" I was expecting visitors so had to dash

Firstly, welcome to the best forum for Tesco misprices DWAINE PIPES.

But we can get BANNED for taking photographs in store!

Apparently according to watchdog it's ok now!!It was to do with that journalist that got told he couldnt write prices down in T's. So if you get caught taking a piccie just quote watchdog, saying that I think it would be more appropriate to post this on the HUKD site:rotfl::rotfl:Not that I will, they scare me:eek:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • I was hoping that it would all blow over, I try not to get too worked up by things because I know that I have a temper when someone pushes me too far. I did ask for CCTV evidence but they couldn't provide it and they said it was at their discretion to ban people from stores.

They really don't like it when people find holes in their own policies, I suspect that a member of staff put the SEL back (As they had a new member of staff who's eyes lit up last time I got a DTD), but I cannot prove that either.

Oh well still lots of other stores close-by, but please everyone take this as a warning and spread your DTD's around your local stores and also be selective in when you fight for a DTD if its not given automatically.

I'd be demanding the CCTV records for them to prove it otherwise a nice big fat apology! It's not like we're walking around Tesco stores with ood sels for f**** sake!
And after that I'd be visiting the same store at least once a week spending there two hours and scanning carefully every single yellow sel in the store just to drive them crazy!
  • Went on a trip to 2 T's yesterday looking for baby bargains or electricals and on the way back stopped at the first store again. I had noticed some Barbie school sets earlier and this time there was new CS staff, so...got 2, just to make up for all the grief they gave me. The lovely young CS chap phoned manager to authorise DTD and refunded me with no prompting at all! Could hardly believe it, I've had so much hassle with this store before.

Found some of the 342 wine glasses at the other store, got 3 and 342 didn't come off. CS gave me 88p cash back. I asked if it shouldn't be double and she said no, it's human error (?!) and the rules have changed a bit...all the while refunding the other 88p onto my card! Silly moo. The woman just in front of me got overcharged for 4 tops (cashier rang 6 up) and I heard CS tell her to get them and they'll give her the overcharged money back...wanted to tell her about DTD, but she left the shop before I could. Apparently JTD is standard practice for them, so be warned (St R*ll*x).

No Panasonic phones OOD in M'h*ll or St R*ll*x, but did find Ambi Pur Nevada Desert plug-in reduced to £1.27. Got the last 2, but Japanese Tatami was also RTC 2.25. Quite a few hip seats left in St R*ll*x, same monitors that have SEL for 19 in M.h*ll scan for £54 odds there though
  • i went into asda this morning looing for the 2p washin g powder, and found myself hunting for honey shreddies, it wasnt until i asked someone that i realsied i didnt need them!! my brain is now conditioned to a tesco shop not a asda shop. so much more peaceful in asda thougand the staff actually talk to you not grunt like tesco do.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.
