I have a couple of times on the bigger items. I presume there is a £ amount over which they need this information. If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -
Have started a new thread on the main board but just posting on here also that I was in Tesco this morning and picked up 2 of the fresh chickens on promo £4.00 BOGOF. The discount didnt kick in so got charged £8.00 and then got £8.00 DTD back. SEL states BOGOF and red stickers with BOGOF on each chicken too.
Might be worth a try, hopefully not store specific0 -

No I've never had to. Some stores write just the DTD in a book and if they do I'm always trying to read the writing, because it's upside down, of the last DTD they've paid out;) If they did I wouldnt give them my real address anyway and would want to know why and what they are doing with the info. If it's just written in their book I wouldnt want any Tom,!!!!!! or Harry having my address.Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
My DS has just sent a picture to me on my mobile of a sign at the self scanners in T's. He popped in to get something on his was to school and thought it might be of interest to me.It was a huge sign saying "do not use self scanners for reduced items" Wonder if it might have something to do with claiming DTD on reduced items on the S/S. Did make me laugh as he obviously thought "I need to tell my mum this is might be important as it's to do with T's"Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

There was a time when they filled in the book, the last time being a £100+ DTD. Since then I've never seen them use the book in any store whether it be £2 or £100. Maybe it's more hassle than it's worth or maybe they've run out of DTD books since we started all this :beer:0 -
When I have been asked for details it has been on a till spit sort of thing that seems to be automatically produced with the refund slip.If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0

I was asked to write my name and address on one of the till spit things about 2 months ago, I've had quite a few DTD's from this store before (large & small) and never been asked for my details before but the trout who asked me to write down my name & address this time was the same one who had given me DTD a few months before, she obviously remembered me as when I asked why, she said she was supposed to ask for it every time but sometimes forgets....hmmm yeh right!
The week after this I was standing at the CS desk with a friend, who was returning something, when the CS supervisor 'appeared from nowhere' and asked if I was ***** ****** (the name I had given for my DTD). I said 'who? no not me'.Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.0
