Just fired off an email to Philip Clarke. I doubt that I'll get a response before Monday, if I do then good, if not I'll use my sisters receipt and return it to where I bought it. I'll drag her along and she can pretend she is returning her own one.0

Pepsi Max 2 litre bottles on website 79p until 6th Sept.
In my local store SEL £1.79
Store manager, who just happened to be by till as I was paying for goods, said that was correct price, didn't have time to check price barcode.
I've ordered max of 10 off website, saving £10, delivery £3, overall saving £7.
( I wanted to buy 20, but limited to 10)
Also some other large heavy non perishable items.
I will get the Pepsi price checked in store when I go early today, if 79p, I will buy loads.
I have until Monday midnight 5th Sept, to cancel delivery if cheaper in store than SEL.
It would cost me £3 in petrol to go to nearest large Tesco, with no guarantee of 79p.
Just noticed your siggy, you can remove your thanks...0 -

I would like to be able to lower Thanks rating for other (sometimes dubious, etc) posts, I have not Thanked, as you can with Red & Green arrows on other forums.
And for Thanks to go below zero.
One step down from Reporting posts, which may be reported anyway, but Thanks are immediate, whereas Mods can take up to 48 hours to deal with Reports.Google is your friend.0 -
The Pepsi Max was 79p in Nottm store yesterday. Big pallet of it by the entrance.0

Pepsi max is my crutch, and I have no car today. I'm not humphing lots of 2L bottles on the bus!
I'll have to buy September's supply on Monday then, if they have some left!
It's only a game

Just got email back from philip clarke office. going to copy this and give it to the trouts LOL
Many thanks for your email of yesterdays date. I am very sorry to learn that you did not receive the reply I sent yesterday evening.
It is store policy to refund a customer double the difference when they have been charged incorrectly for an item, and as I mentioned in my previous email, I do feel this incident was handled incorrectly by the store. The promotion was displayed the day before it started and the Manager should have taken this into account when he spoke with you.
Please accept my sincere apologies for the way this was handled by the store.
I have also passed a copy of your email on to our head of Customers Services, to have this addressed with all store Managers, to ensure that promotional literature is not displayed before the start of the promotion.
To enable me to send you the £15 Tesco Moneycard for the inconvenience caused.
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards,
Customer Services ExecutiveIf you dont like the answer why ask the question:D0
