I tried to take a picture of the new signs that are up in St£ven&ge Br0&dwater but took a video instead - I'm not techie minded!
http://s1182.photobucket.com/albums/x444/MKSRP/price/?action=view¤t=660.mp4
There was one large sign behind CS desk. It headlines Our Promise... Can anyone tell me how to change the clips to pictures?
:eek::eek::eek::eek:
not a great video but does it basically R&R for overcharges? yipee for you guys, maybe they are bringing this in again lol!!
well my local had blacked out the "we will refund double the difference part" of the price promise, it is a store i have had umpteen problems with CS assitants trying to wangle out of DTD so i sent an email to the ceo and they apologised, sent me a £10 gift card and the store has now removed the black ink (scartches all over, somebody obviously had to get down on their hands and needs and do some scrubbing!!!:T:T:j:j)
i also recieved a £30 gift card for my awful experience in another store while i was away(refused to return an electircal item i was overcharged on was faulty), been a great week!!
went to return an item of clothing today had the recipt and all was legit, Cs assistant who knows me very well did an overcharge accidentally instead of a normal refund, how embarrassing, couldn't get myself out of there fast enough, i obviously have DTD printed on my foreheadGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -
I've not been able to find any of the Playdoh in 3 stores in my area. Missed the batteries deal too, but on the plus side, did find a decent rolling pin for 72p! Also 3 ceramic ramekins at 25p each, a large mixing bowl for £3 and Hello Kitty tubs for 10p each. So all in all not a wasted day.
Have to add that I do have some of the Cadbury's pots in the fridge to make me smile :-)...
Am so looking forward to the next glitch!0 -
Found a local store the battery glitch worked in a lo and behold there was a big sign outside detailing the petrol promo including the 342 on Herbal Essences. I got a selection and managed 2 transactions. There was no signage in store so had to leave, admire the signs on the way out then go back in and say I didn't realise there was a discount promo as I only got them at the overinflated price to get a couple of quid off my fuel bill.
They tried every combo to get the 342 to kick in but alas, no luck. So 2 x £6.64 DTD, 2 x 5p petrol coupons and having checked mysupermarket, there could be some JTD for the shampoo as Asda sell them at around £1.50! Fingers crossed the shampoo could work out free as long as I get at least 2 bottles per transaction that match then 2 x £2.70 in petrol and money off the shopping thanks to the batteries :j
P.S. I think there may have been a friend of Martins in the store tonight. I tried 3 AA and 3 AAA and when I saw it worked went back to get more but someone had beaten me to it! Anyone on here in the Nards store?
Might pop back in tomorrow and see if they've changed the labels overnight.0 -
Tried the battery glitch at lunch time today scanned 3 packs. Along with smelly imotion thing with SEL £10 but scans at £2, 2 bottles of Fairy lemon BOGOF & a bit of other shopping to make sure I didnt get a negative discount) I got £10.50 discount = free batteries.
Decided to get a couple more packs spent £21.00 got 24.50 discount! - Crazy!
This was at 12.30 in the new store in Sa**lew*rth.
Had to call in at Hu**ersfield Road Ol**am later - no batteries, Cider going through at 3 for £20 as per sel, little plastic lunch boxes were £2! so left them but did find pasta at 22p - got a bag there was plenty left.
BUT saw THE RICE! at £7 or 22 for £10 SEL. My daughter & I stood & laughed tried to weigh up if we dare do it! She was all for going to get another trolly but as we were in a Smart car (already full of shopping) & were late for a meeting decided maybe that would be best saved for tomorrow!....................0 -

the store I went to would not give me DTD, even though a banner was stuck on the side of the shelf next to the Herbal Essences... I even pointed out it was advertised in the papers..ie.mirror... so not happy.. just left
But yes they do compare on the price check with Asda so some JTD back but only some varieties... I think the ones on the advert are compared..0 -

Morning all, im just back from a trip to tescos and the board that tells you about double the difference if things dont add up as has been taken down. Maybe about to be replaced with an R & R message????? Fingers crossed! I managed to get some bargains in the baking aisle. cookie mix reduced to 32p, chocolate cake covering reduced to 43p, chocolate sponge mix reduced to 24p, mini pink and white marshmallows reduced to 54p and packs of 2 silicone headed spatulas reduced to 36p. That lot will keep the kids busy for a while! My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and it's price competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.0
