beanymagoo wrote: »Morning all, im just back from a trip to tescos and the board that tells you about double the difference if things dont add up as has been taken down. Maybe about to be replaced with an R & R message????? Fingers crossed! I managed to get some bargains in the baking aisle. cookie mix reduced to 32p, chocolate cake covering reduced to 43p, chocolate sponge mix reduced to 24p, mini pink and white marshmallows reduced to 54p and packs of 2 silicone headed spatulas reduced to 36p. That lot will keep the kids busy for a while!
Fingers crossed about R&R, would be great if it is coming back, just in time for Xmas.:T
My relatives didn't know what hit them at the Xmas when R&R was at its height - digital radios, the odd microwave, video games, irons, dvd recorders, cameras, mobile phones. Probably been a big let down since - back to smellies from the boots or lloyds sale.:p0 -
After following the thread for weeks and making lists (feeling slightly green reading everyone elses wonderful finds) and visiting Mr T's so often people had started to think I was a new member of staff, I finally got a DTD last night and another one today!:j
Last nights were reduced hot chicken that scanned at the full price and todays was reduced mushrooms which also scanned at full price. Total profit ...... wait for it....... 3p!:D
I feel like I'm off the starting blocks :TCouldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can

congrats on your first dtd & heres to many more
I think your profit must have been more than 3p though? even if you were only overcharged by 1p on each item your dtd would of been 4pHandle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.0 -

Nah, unfortunately none of the items were half price, just done my sums again and I didn't make a profit after allbut did get some (nearly) free stuff.
Did well on the surf, with a few vouchersand I just hope nobody is monitoring the ATM or they will wonder why I need so many balance print outs
Even my teenage DD doesn't walk away from me when I'm doing a womble anymore :rotfl:Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can

Hi all, just have a question about yellow reduced labels that are stuck on the products (whoopsies). Yesterday my store had lots of the B1G2F Primafresca (?) pizzas down to 45p each. I bought three to see if the B1G2F discount would kick in, to give a net profit (it didn't, but never mind). As my basket was also full of batteries lol I was at the SS till, and had to enter each pizza's code manually as the label wasn't scanning. On the last one I tried scanning it but it picked up the original price as the sticker hadn't covered it properly. Then had to get the SA to void and manually input again. Hang on, I thought, should I have got DTD on that? Then I thought, no, because the batteries would rumble me.
So the question is this: is it worth looking out for whoopsie labels where the original barcode is still visible in the hope that it scan? Would DTD apply?:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -

That's what happened to both of my recent adventures(Get me I sound like a real DTD'r:rotfl:)
Both were even done at the SS tills so I thought that would cause a problem but the CS peep didn't mention it:T. I must say I didn't do it on purpose, genuine mistake both times.Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can

So, it looks like R&R is a definite go-er now then?

You have to insist a bit more at CS as they try to wangle out of it but I have had it twice on whoopsies when the original price went through;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
