Slightly off topic, i have just been and picked up some batteries, i think this is an example of a mistake at head office as i remember checking these when the sel expired at the beginning of august, the offer obviously ended and nobody has removed it from the pricing system.

Most people are quite friendly there! This is a normal t£$c0, not an Extra store.

Hello, yes I bought 6 pack of batteries this morning and the glitch worked. I've found that you need to look carefully at the SEL. Some sotres have Buy one get one free and some show as buy one get two free. I've only bought where the SEL is buy one get two free. Oh, my store states that the batteries are limited to 18 packs per customer. Also wombled a 5p off fuel reciept in the car park - nice.

Batteries : Ours has both sels next to each other on the rack BOGOF and BOG2F both in date on the AAA also had an out of date BOGOF on the rack

Went through with both discounts so 2*£7 as they went through and £10.50 at the end so got the £24.50 off a £21 spend on 6 packs.

THe AA had the BOG2F sel missing so did not risk them.

Was in a different T today and overheard a staff member, who was standing next to a big display of boxes of cider and beer, on the phone (presumably to another store) telling them to remove the big price cards as there were 2 offers overlapping! Looks like T found a glitch before us :(
She also told the person on the phone to contact the next person on their list?

Ah I was wondering about this today, when I went about 1pm all the beer and cider isle was closed off. This must have been why.

Got the Birds 5p custard from G**dm**yes, box was right at the top, as I tied to get it down, they all fell on the floor! It was quiet so don't think anybody saw me quickly picking them up, I only got 4 and left the others in the box on the bottom shelf.:)

Where is everyone finding the playdough? Is it in the kids toy section on the clip strips?
    TIA

The mini play doh (20p) is on clip strips and the play doh cutters (50p) are on the reduced to clear shelves in my stores. Some are also in the toys section. In some stores they are priced 97p and £1/£2 respectively but go though at the reduced price.
  • I've been lurking for weeks on here and I've never posted as I'm yet to get a DTD or even a bargain. Your experiences are really inspiring so tonight I decided it was time to go on a mission to get my first glitch and get the batteries.

I went to 3 different stores (2 extras and 1 normal) and it didn't work on any of them!! I'm soo disappointed! I really wanted the batteries! I know a few people mentioned it got fixed at their stores but I was wondering if anyone managed to get any in W. M1dl4nds so I can try again tomorrow... thanks!

PS. I know a couple of people mentioned candles. Are these airw1ck ones, bogof for £1.50?
