The Honiton store has just had a refit. I checked the customer services desk in there today and the wording on the 'If things don't add up' section was for double the difference.

I think that the idea they're about to reintroduce R&R is pure fantasy.

After the St£venage Br0&dwater refit last year, the white background notices were displayed. They were still displayed last Wednesday. It was only yesterday that this new blue background poster with the different wording, was on display.

last week at Tesco I went to buy cat food and skin care with my clubcard points.
Being new to MSE and being aware of Tescos points really too I didnt know
that I had to go to customer services and double up. I seen a notice while getting
cat food and even asked a memeber of staff what I had to do, they replied (while seeing
me with lots of these products) take them to the till and it gets taken off your shopping at the end??????
No double up points for me went to customer services they lady seemed to enjoy telling that there wasn't anything
they could do about it. So .............. enjoy your batteries good people!!! ........... its Tescos fault if they make mistakes just like they told me
    last week.

should have asked for your money back on all items, got the vouchers then repurchased them. that would have knocked the smile off of cc. i bet if you tried this they would have found a way to help you.

Just so you know my exp on the herbal essence.... went out to buy batteries (non at my local) but thought i'd buy the herbal essence instead which showed as 3 for 2 on the petrol promotion vouchers it says ANY 3 for 2 so i bought ANY didn't kick in so went to CS, to which i had to show her the offer, and impress on her that no really it was 3 for 2 in the first place!!! so she refunded me 1 bottle, when i asked shouldn't it be double the diff i was told no as it was not a misprice... clearly it was. I phoned CS who said yes it's DTD and put me through to duty manager at my store (whioch i suspect is the same person who served me) she said no it's not DTD as the offer doesn't start until 2m, even though on the petrol posters it says 3 for 2, and apparently the date is at the very bottom.... so what says i, the 5p worked but this doesn't, all she can do is offer me a full refund for me to buy the things 2m, why would i do that when i've already got the 3 for 2??? didn't understand

an update decided that i would take the whole bloomin lot back!!! i wasn't impressed and thought i'd play them at their own game, i 'forgot' my purse and walked in with the goods and my receipt, so first thing she says is, do you have the voucher (all the posters have been taken down btw) for petrol? no i didn't bring my purse, well...can't do refund without voucher, 'your duty manager told me to come in and i could get a refund' didn't she say anything about voucher? 'no' well you'll just have to wait until the duty manager comes.. up she comes (THE SAME GIRL AT CS YEST AND I THINK THE DUTY MANAGER I SPOKE TO ON PHONE) mutters under her breath, this one's not worth it, just give her the money back, cs girl asks do you have your clubcard 'no i havent got my purse' well you should really have that but i'll do it this time... upshot was shampoo cost, £3.32, £3.32 and £3.36... got JTD yest £3.36 today they gave me £10 back, do i got DTD after all but not the shampoo, it's so strange..... but hey chaching for me!!!:T
  • Hello, yes I bought 6 pack of batteries this morning and the glitch worked. I've found that you need to look carefully at the SEL. Some sotres have Buy one get one free and some show as buy one get two free. I've only bought where the SEL is buy one get two free. Oh, my store states that the batteries are limited to 18 packs per customer. Also wombled a 5p off fuel reciept in the car park - nice.

Was in a different T today and overheard a staff member, who was standing next to a big display of boxes of cider and beer, on the phone (presumably to another store) telling them to remove the big price cards as there were 2 offers overlapping! Looks like T found a glitch before us :(
She also told the person on the phone to contact the next person on their list?

If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.

    Xmas Saver!
Just cos the sign is not there, doesn't mean it will not glitch, but it may mean a DTD is not available... But 2 offers overlapping makes you think it is not a DTD, but a glitch...
