Not sure if this is a misprice or just a reduction on their value items Tesco value Assorted Chocolates and Toffees 750g for 32p. These have been 2+ pounds recently.

AngelsMadv...they didn't mention that. Even customer services (0800 number) confirmed they were £11 but the manager told HO that they did a complete audit of that department just before they closed the night before so a customer must have put the ticket there in the morning! I don't see how they think we walk around with them in our pockets. I have returned them to a different store but I really wanted the 2 dinner services for my daughter but not paying £40. Oh well back to the hunt for a cheaper one.

  • Had been given a £1.25 off coupon if I bought enough £5 ice cream. Carefully chose two allowed items with a total cost of £5.25 and then at the checkout the price of one item showed at less than it was advertised at in the freezer, total charge £4.99 so not able to use my £1.25 off coupon. Does this happen regularly? Have other instances of this type of thing. Do I change my supermarket or ignore all till generated coupons in future?

I think when it comes to Tesco, you take their advertised prices with a pinch of salt. Sometimes your lucky and you pay less than advertised, sometimes the item actually costs what you expect to pay but what I've found is that quite often, you get overcharged or multi-buys don't kick in etc etc. I dread to think how many times this happened to me in the past but back then I had more money than sense and receipts went straight in the bin when I got home.

Hi all, not sure if this is a misprice or they are just reduced to clear but today I bought
Country Store 4 Aberdeen Angus Quarter Pounders 454G (frozen)

for 77p per box which works out at £1.70 a kilo for aberdeen angus beef! These used to be £2.50 a box so a definite bargain.

lots of price changes tonight so keep an eye out for DTD's tomorrow, unfotunately i'm doing a 12 hr shift so expect you all to get plenty on my behalf eg, shavers and airfresheners i noticed sel's all finish today

got DTD on kids swimshorts 2 pack were £8 reduced to £4 should have been £2 in sale, CS assistant refused to accept were included in the 1/2 price sale at the weekend, rang up CS and the confirmed should have been in, same SA was there , felt satisfying to get £4 back

I got two different swimshorts at the weekend. 50% came off one pair but the other pair scanned in at £1 less than the reduced sticker but no discount. Apparently not one of the 'selected lines'. How am I meant to know? Literally they're asking you to take a gamble at the tills as to whether you got the discount. That had to be the most misleading sale ever.

I rang CS and they confirmed ALL swimwear was in the sale, i would ring yourself to double check and take them back to the store, i gave them the barcode on the phone and she checked for me

I phoned CS to complain about the sale but the emphasis was on other items I bought in the gardening section that were mispriced. They're sending out a giftcard to say sorry but CS can't change the price the store charged so I'd have to go back there and for the sake of £3 I can't be bothered. I'll get karma some other way :rotfl:
