A while ago there was a great JTD back on the finest meal deals - meal deals are still showing for £10 with a bottle of wine does anyone know if JTD still works on these (if the wine is cheaper at ASDA at the rest N/A) or has that gap been plug since part of a deal?

    Many thanks.:)

This was working with the Turner's Road months back (brought the cost of the meal deal down to £4.03) - and the other week it was working with the Fiano (meal deal for £8 instead of £10). Currently none of the wines on the Meal Deal are sold at Asda, so no chance of price matching. But keep your eyes peeled!

  • Just back from Mr T and managed to get the Top Gear Rectangular Lunch bag for £1.20. Was originally £8, then reduced to £6 now £1.20. A great bargain I reckon for kids going back to school.

Product details are here http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=270487062 but no image, just do a search and it'll come up.

This may be store specific but worth checking out if you want a free small stapler. In my store small bright pink, blue and grey staplers were in a box a £1 on it and the yellow sel also said Tesco Stapler £1. They were in the red boxes they put cheap things in usually at the end of aisles.
It is scanning at £2, so I got £2 dtd so a free stapler. These maybe ideal for school.

Great news someone else got some, it's good to pay back a little for all the posts others do. Hopefully next time I'll find something that we get paid to have rather than just free;)
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Someone mentioned those yellow and white labels that staff management were putting on stock a few pages ago and how they may stop 1ps. I think they might be an indication of 1p items. I saw a few boxes on the very stop shelves in my Ts and they had those new labels that read "not for sale". The box looked new and ready for the items inside to be stocked, so I wonder if they are doing this now if they find items are scanning at 1p?

Anyone got the courage or height to find one of these and scan an item inside?

Waiting at CS for my refund on reduced chocolate eclairs for which we'd been charged full price, there was a laady with two jars of Pataks but i wasn't paying attention.

Wombling advice please picked up a large receipt but it had a clubcard number & crt card number on it. Can I put it in for Asda comparison would I get a voucher with the other persons clubcard number on it ? We've never managed any of our reciepts being more than Asda usually the majority of items are not applicable :(

Yes you can put the receipt details into Pricecheck. If you do get a pricecheck voucher from that receipt it won't have any clubcard details on it, none of them do.

    It's only a game
