You cant beat free obviously but just googled these and you can get them for £12 on eBay - just shows you what a rip off Mr T's is charging £39.99 for these

A while ago there was a great JTD back on the finest meal deals - meal deals are still showing for £10 with a bottle of wine does anyone know if JTD still works on these (if the wine is cheaper at ASDA at the rest N/A) or has that gap been plug since part of a deal?

    Many thanks.:)

Not sure if this is a misprice or just a reduction on their value items Tesco value Assorted Chocolates and Toffees 750g for 32p. These have been 2+ pounds recently.

This may be store specific but worth checking out if you want a free small stapler. In my store small bright pink, blue and grey staplers were in a box a £1 on it and the yellow sel also said Tesco Stapler £1. They were in the red boxes they put cheap things in usually at the end of aisles.
It is scanning at £2, so I got £2 dtd so a free stapler. These maybe ideal for school.

    Barcode 5000358194845
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=251434238 this is the one, but mine was a bright blue one, but assume they will all scan at £2 . It is showing as £2 online.

Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I got a Disney Cars beach suit type thingy which was reduced to £7 but scanned at the original price of £11....therefore I got £8 DTD back!!!

Whoop whoop! First of many I hope.

    :( Trying hard...failing miserably :(
  • Anybody having any joy yet?
Still havn't found my first DTD on SEL'S.. was just wondering,

When a SEL states for e.g: Offer ends: 04/08/2011
does this mean that if i go in 1AM on 05/08/2011 it will scan at usual price as long as they are not continuing the offer?

Thanks, GL and will keep posted of any finds

Ok before I phone CS and give off stink, can someone confirm what DTD and/or refunds are for? 3 issues in 24 hours for me:

    1. Electrical item displayed on shelf with a £150 SEL but the boxed product had a £160 SEL. Charged £160 then told afterwards that the cheaper SEL refered to the display model and the dearer tag was for the boxed items. SELs identical in size, functions, description etc but the dearer item was a newer model apparently. Guy checked and they had 10+ of the old model in stock - oh wait, it was actually the new model! Even their systems were confusing the models. Was told they could sell me the display model but no discount (I didn't even ask) as they don't do that. That's bull as I was told in another store today plus I bought a display item before and was given 10% off which I didn't even ask for! End result was I got a refund today as I couldn't be bothered arguing again.

    2. Pair of kids swim shorts didn't discount at the till. Apparently it's only selected items yet nothing to state what was reduced and what wasn't, just signs saying Summer Sale, selected lines 50% off including swimwear etc. End result, my fault not theirs so no refund or DTD.

    3. Gardening item on shelf with SEL of 30p. SEL description perfectly matched so purchased a few of them. Items scanned at £1. SA cheked and the barcodes don't match even though there were no other items on the shelf to confuse them with. So it's my job to check the barcode of every item I purchase against the barcode on the SEL. Get out clause is that the label was missing and kids could have moved it etc etc.

Folks, where do I stand with all this? I got myself a cheaper TV online last night when I got home so couldn't be bothered with the hassle but that's 2 items today I've been overcharged on innocently (yes, totally innocently) yet the store is arguing that as long as the barcodes don't match it's not their problem even if the description matches perfectly. Talk about being enticed to buy an item at a cheaper price then being given the middle finger.

i had that with a telly recently and they would only give me a refund. complained to ho and eventually got £20 cashcard for hassle but no dtd and they was a correct price on stack of boxed items even though display model had differnt.

so they were a right pain and wasn;t worth hassle in end. finally spent cards and will probably not bother with tescos much in future not worth hassle and petrol to get there when i have a morrions down road.
