A bit off topic but I remember someone from one of the 3 threads I read saying they can find a discount code for almost anything. If that person reads this could you find me a code for Accor Hotels? Specifically for their Etap brand of hotels.

    TIA

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi guys, I have a new dtd, Its a Remington Comfort 360 Shaver White SEL £59.99 scanned as £129.99 so go £139.97! so got paid £10 to take it away! Apparently it's a pretty rubbish shaver though! (I have a photo but not sure how to put it on!)

Also in the Tesco magazine there are coupons for £1 yoo yoghurt WYS 2.89 on them, they are currently on half price at £1.44 a pack so I got two packs and a single pot and scanned two coupons at the self serve :-) My friend tried it with three £1.44 packs and three coupons but after the first one it called for authorisation (the wee lad just overrid it for us though!) I think this may have been because she only had the yoghurt while I had spent £10 with my other bits?

edit - sorry this was in B4gul4y store and I checked Burn4ge which had the correct price for the shavers.

And in case anyone is wondering, a few people on here are definitely acting out some sort of Monty Python sketch. Apocryphal stories aside, the reality is that anyone with common sense was able to do very well out of R&R.

My thoughts exactly! It is good to have advice from wiser friends, but it is turning into a bit of "in our r&r day, we had to wade through t'store with security on our back like monkies! Were proper consumer activism then, was..." :rotfl:

I don't think I am going to dtd for ages now and only on something I really want or need, but that was pretty much what I planned anyway.

On another note, if I returned two items that I was given jtd on, but later had a giftcard from CS for the remaining dtd on, would this be ok? I wouldn't do it because personally I don't feel it is right, but I wonder if I would be able to? The SA marked jtd on the receipt but said we could return it within 28 days if we wanted to. :?

Thanks to bingers for the heads up on the Pringles.
I got 3 packs today.... sel =£1, charged £2.04..... be careful though, as there were several different sels and multi-buy offers with different flavours.
This was the Salt and Balsamic Vinegar ones..... with offer date into August.

So sweet, lady cs gave me DTD, and when I looked puzzled she explained carefully to me about the DTD policy..... I was so surprised.
    I didn't know Tesco had that policy:p
    Ah......
I wouldn't mind, she was there when I was getting R&R and then she really was a trout.

TOB is good at playing dumb, although some might say I don't have to 'play' much :D

    Hi there

Bought 12 bottles of First Cape Rose Limited Release. Priced on offer at £3.49. Came in at till at £7.99. Got £108 back. Equivalent to them paying you £1.01 per bottle. Woo Hoo

how was this possible didn;t they ask you why you did not notice at the till when asked check the amount and put your pin in.

for such a large amount it will have been hard to not notice, that is what i was asked recently.

For stuff like this, I'd have to clear the shelf to make the hassle of getting DTD worthwhile!
