Such interesting reads lately, just want to say my duvet episode was a one off and i only did it as when i went in the first time i asked the CS person if she wanted me to take the ticket down as it was high up. She said no, that same ticket was there 2 days after! If they cant correct something when they are told they deserve to be hit.0

I do hope you mean metaphorically and your not going back with your car when it gets dark!0 -
Ok so i went to my local tesco express to get the febreze glitch (which is sadly not working anymore). As i was at a self checkout i got the SA to cancel the two sprays, well once that was done i pressed the button to pay the receipt popped out! I wasn't sure if this was a glitch or if the SA mistakenly voided the whole transaction. Should i go back and pay or treat this as a glitch humm0 -
I'm sure the "oldies" didn't post their warnings for everyone to explain themselves and their recent actions! LOL
If I happen to find the First Cape today I intend to get 12 bottles! I really NEED wine... (never thought I will after dtd and Sainsbury's glitch but it seems wine just can't stand my bf and keeps running out...)0 -

Just back from my shop no DTD although didnt look to close. I used a voucher for spending x amount and a refund on a receipt that I wombled and a variety of MOCs, so cut my shopping bill down to way under half of the total:j No wine though, my store seems on the ball:( and I couldnt resist the Lactofree cheese, tastless really, it reminds me of a mozerella type of cheese, so maybe use in cooking, but either way it will be put to good use cos it was freeee, so thanks to poster.:T0

Plenty of chilli nuts in cowley, boxes and boxes of 20p paxo. Belgian choc puds flowing out of the freezer but now scanning at something like £3.50. Lloyd Grossman curry sauce in a jar £1.79 each or 2 for £2, nice as well. Hope this is of use to someone.Maureen0

Iv only done DTD twice and I would probably not use my club card next time around because they could easily spot a pattern emerging.
Nobody is saying NOT to go for DTD, or to stock up on glitches.
Over the years I have lost count of how many R&R, DTD and glitches I have had.
All we are advising is to keep a low profile.
Do not argue the toss for half an hour at cs, demand to see the store manager and then phone HO..... for the sake of 4 glasses.
Because if the next day you get the chance of a phone... and it is the same staff on the desk, and the same manager on duty, they may well remember you.
Of course get every DTD you can, even asking when not offered, but keep it all nice and calm and low key...... you will be reaping the benefit for years, or as long as DTD lasts;)
Some of these bigger stores have such a large number of CS staff and duty managers, they will not be able or willing to keep track of everyone who gets DTD...... so you can retain your anonymity, and no one will be any the wiser.
But if you create a great scene, they will remember you for quite a while, and they may even keep records - you name, club card details, credit card etc.... just to flag you up.
I am sure I remember a few R&Rers who after several run in with Tesco, under the FOI act asked to see all the records Tesco had on them..... and were absolutely horrified:eek:
Just remember they also usually have cctv of their car park, as well as within the store.
Big brother Tesco is watching you.
Keep it low key, go to different stores, at different times and give them as little information about YOU as possible.
Hence my advice re credit and club cards.
Not always possible of course if the DTD item is nice and expensive.
But if they have no other record of your name being involved in DTD, then everything should be cool.
If they have records of you claiming DTD twice a week for 3 months, and they you hit the jackpot with a plasma TV.... they might be a tad reluctant to play ball and believe you are a professional.
Whilst on the theme - hence why no one knows where I am, or which stores I frequent.
Even when posting glitches or DTD I will never reveal the store name, or city..... nor do I give a blow by blow account of he said this, she said that....
Doesn't take a genius for Tesco to find out who The Old Bag actually is if I say I was in the Leeds branch, got a TV on DTD with an overcharge of £1,324.68 and the cs was a red-headed Trout with specs.
Don't panic (Mr Mannering), keep it light, keep it cool, be discrete. Play the game for the long run.
Advice finished.;)0
