Phoned CS again and they said I have to deal with the store and it's nothing to do with them.
Belts and wallets there are scanning at £1.10 & £1 still.
I'd phone CS again and see if you can speak to the person you spoke to last week (did you get a name?) and tell her what the store, and her CS colleague said and ask if she can put a call through to the store.
Failing that drop an email to Phillip Clarke...0 -

I second this - I was gettin nowhere with CS (ignored my online enquiry) so emailed him and I was emailed this morning to say the matter was being fully investigated and that they would get back to me shortly.0 -
Learnt a valuable lesson - don't "shop" if short of time. I picked up a breville 2 slice toaster, marked at £19.99 scanned at £40. Cs wasn't having it, even when I took her over and showed her. She said barcode was different, but, the price was underneath a breville 2 slice toaster - description matched and there were no toasters with the right barcode. If I'd had more time I'd have pushed a little harded, but didn't really know where I stood with it. Was sure my toast would taste better if it was made in a free toaster
Please, pretty please!:D

poor you... why didn't you make her sign your receipt with something like "wrong sel on display with the item, dtd refused"? now she probably took it off... however you can still try to phone HO and see what they tell you...?0 -
Just been on our first DTD hunt. Didn't find anything but it was exciting! Going back on 28th as we noticed a lot of SELs due to end on the 27th. Can't wait a whole week..."He hopes and he wished it but it didn’t fall in his lap so he ain’t even here"0

I've found several of the old style Finest strawberry tarts, in the deeper boxes with white chocolate drizzled over them in the last few weeks. Tried a new store today and found 9, but they scanned at £3 - Tesco can keep them!0

Personally I like this thread as it is. Yes you do have to wade through a few pages some times but really I don't find it any bother. I like that the thread is funny and has a real sense of comraderie to it. Also amongst the chat their are always lots of tips and often other deals on other threads get mentioned here that I might have missed. If you split the thread it will become like the coupon thread which I religiously used to read, but confess not using as much because it's been split into two. If some people feel that strongly then give it a vote as to whether to split it, that would seem to be the fairest way. The boots thread has been mentioned but I was under the impression that the boots thread was pulled as it got quite nasty in the end and that is one thing that you can say has definately not happened with this thread!
And just to add this thread is called:

Just checking in while we wait for Isla to finish filling her nappy before we bathe her.... went to Tesco earlier and managed to find a lone 12p harpic, also managed to get 4 stripey glasses, labelled at 4 for £3 so managed to get £4 back as was charged £5.
So good result all round!!
Also scanned Roses but going through at £1, also tried a couple of wines that had out of date SELs but still scanned at the lower price.
Also bought some more 20p Paxo and managed to get some woopsied steak mince to stick in the freezer.
Sorry no new finds, but I did try, def gave the shelves a good look.My daughters are my world0 -

Two toasters, were on sale at £18 but back up to full price of £40....ha ha, but sign hadn't been removed. She looked really shocked when the customer services explained she was getting the toasters for free and getting £8.00 to take them away.....hilarious.
...and i was just buying my lotto :j
they were Breville silver 2 slice toasters (couldn't very well poke in her trolley for the bar code)...but might be somewhere else as this store sorted it out pronto, so i couldn't slip in and bag me some too:(
It's as well you weren't standing beside me today. Almost double that DTD amountNot going to go into details in case anyone reading this puts 2 and 2 together but lets say the item has been mentioned on here before and it was an out of date SEL that worked in my favour. Small profit made but the DTD amount was incredible. The amazing thing was that out of all the CS staff involved, not one of them had an issue with the amount! I was trying not to keel with shock yet they were so nice and polite and clearly didn't care about the amount. What's the polar opposite of a trout as that's what these ladies were?
Also spotted the 3500 MS mice but only saw the pink one going out. Will get someone to check and if successful will update on here.0
