Congratulations to Emerald and baby Isla! :j:j:j:j:j

This thread might be hard to read - but this site is as much about COMMUNITY as moneysaving.

Keep it as it is! Just continue to highlight misprice reports in blue so people not interested in chat can scan the thread for them.

yes, but the point being made is that you can have all the chat on a seperate discussion thread.

i can see what people mean about having to sift through pages of our chatter to get the bargains, so maybe a new thread is in order. but could we not continue this one exactly as it is, where we all post bargains and chatter, and you who want it the other way just start your own? then we can look at each others to "borrow" bargains and list them on our own forums? does that make any sense because im just thinking out loud :)

Please, not another T thread - I spend so much time reading about shopping I hardly have time to do any!

If I found a bargain today I would struggle to know where to put it - is it a bargain, a glitch, a mis-price, should it have a new thread, has it already been mentioned on one of the other threads and everyone will jump on me... It's almost enough to put you off posting.

Personally I like this thread as it is. Yes you do have to wade through a few pages some times but really I don't find it any bother. I like that the thread is funny and has a real sense of comraderie to it. Also amongst the chat their are always lots of tips and often other deals on other threads get mentioned here that I might have missed. If you split the thread it will become like the coupon thread which I religiously used to read, but confess not using as much because it's been split into two. If some people feel that strongly then give it a vote as to whether to split it, that would seem to be the fairest way. The boots thread has been mentioned but I was under the impression that the boots thread was pulled as it got quite nasty in the end and that is one thing that you can say has definately not happened with this thread!
And just to add this thread is called:
Tesco misprices and discussion thread 11
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Is it me or are the ones who are complaining those who have barely contributed? I may be wrong but I don't recognise the usernames so maybe it's getting harder for those who take advantage of others hard work and effort in posting, to find all those bargains for themselves?

If you want bargains laid out on a plate then go to HUKD and deals with the politics of posting over there.

As I said, I could be wrong.

I haven't been on that often due to having a baby, however I'm the finder of the paxo and the hannah montana paper!
I will go to Tesco today and scour the shelves for cheap items, was too tired yesterday!

The thread is good how it is, nice and friendly usually with the odd troll!

  • Thank you for the congrats messages, Isla hasn't been too Tesco yet, however I'm sure I can use her cuteness to distract trouts when I ask for DTD on overcharges!

I think the best way to find bargains is to basically go to Tesco and scour the SELs, this is how I found the paxo and the wrapping paper.
People that are moaning obviously don't want to do the hard work and want everything given on a plate.
