Maybe not, but scents of TROLL ALERT.

I thought as much myself, that's why I answered clarifying Tesco's own rules on instore dtd. Just in case any newbies read that post and thought otherwise.

Really Tesco should make sure staff adhere to their own policies, but we've seen here that some SA's make up the rules as they go along.

    It's only a game

Just back from Tesco, bought x2 Ginsters Original Cornish Pasty 227g. I'm sure the shelf price was £1.29 each but they went through at 0.64p each :j

We use Stanley blades at work to open our milk so that's most likely what has happened, the tesco employee may not have noticed or didn't want to own up.
I'd get right on their case if it were me :)

Tesco's are really good, there have been a number of occasions in the past where they have sold something and had a price tag underneath stating a price and I have gone to pay and found that the item is more expensive than they stated, apparently had the wrong tag underneath, but when I have pointed it out to them they have given it to me for the cheaper price without complaining, I know its something that should do anyway but they never make me feel stupid for raising the issue which is good.

can you do me a favor rather than wasting time posting on here how good tesco are can you come round and clean the back of my car , should'nt take anymore than a few hours :rotfl:
tell mr tesco i have sent an email to him and are awaiting a reply

Just been to T and found the pots of banana rice pudding 30p each but on offer for 4 for £1.50. Bought 4 in the hope of a DTD but they went through as 30p

I don't know whether this will help anyone or whether we could spin it in our favour but I picked up the free mag, July/August edition and there is a voucher for Yoo yogurts that went out of date last month. Any ideas???

Did you find anything else ? haven't found anything local yet :(
Apart from the mouse they refused me :rotfl:

When they had their refund and retain policy, the xbox 360 had aSEL of £279 but went through the check out at £299 so people got a free xbox.

That's another one that's fallen by the wayside though. Tesco seem to have a habit of implementing policies that they simply haven't thought through :rotfl:

What did R&R actually mean? if the price it went through the till was more than the SEL then you got the money refunded and you got to keep the xbox?
