Any of you longtimers still have shadows?
Yep I have the same in my local. Not a problem too me as I complain too Head-office and the next time instore they look very sad as they can't follow me anymore. One day I went with a friend and I was followed by 6 people. I picked up lots of goods while on the phone and put them back filt a troley full with stuff and left to go somewhere else. Friend stayed around and they started to check all the SEL. Needless to say I left the trolley and left the store without buying anything.0 -

no but some of us short-timers do
only joined MSE in jan (so many years lost!!!!), after DTD although didn't go overboard i have an easily recognisalble face a couple of weeks ago when i walked into Ts the security guard whistled the other one and were on me like halks-although all i wanted to do was return a pair of trousers that i had a receipt for-manager was called and CS staff looked v flustered as i had used coupons (ariel etc ) for some of the shopping
although i have since been in the same store and done several DTDs on the stripy glasses with same security guard eyeing me up (!) but nothing moreGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

One of my first CS encounters with R&R was with a follower of paul Daniels (now you see the SEL, now you don't) who didn't like it being pointed out that the SEL she couldn't find on the shelf had magically found its way into her top pocket. She moved from CS and I thought yayy but then spotted here working for security (which was obviously her calling) and her and her minions used to keep a close eye. There were others that definitely knew what I was up to with R&R but most gave in graciously.0 -
Can I ask the more experienced members on here why it appears that only Tesco have problems with pricing errors? No one ever seems to report silly mispricing at say Sainsburys or elsewhere - do they not have them or just not reported?
Many thanks.0 -
i asked this a few days ago on one of the glitch threads and one of the peeps who works for asda said there as soon as the store notices an error they have the power to remove items from thr shelf or alter it store specifically not wait for it to be changed nationally
tesco just seem to be slower off the mark with sorting the glitchesGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

And thank god for that! Think how many people would have lost out on the knives, crockery, cookware, gardening items etc if Tesco managed to pull their finger out of their ****
I swear I'm becoming addicted to this forum. Every time there's a glitch or DTD or something that will allow me to shaft Tesco I'm off the sofa and out the door quicker than Tesco can change their minds on company policy. I wouldn't rush out the same if it was Sainsburys or Asda but then again, I've never been ripped off by them nor treated like a thief when handing over a coupon. I was in Asda today and the lady who if she worked in Tesco would have been labelled a trout was so nice. She packed my shopping without even asking me, chatted to me and wished me a nice day when I was leaving.0 -

Many thanks.
Everyone seems to love fighting back with Tesco but the other supermarkets we feel warmer (if that's the right word?) about.
The Asda price promise hasn't been exploited at all despite having a further 10% back!
That's just my theory though...:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I'm glad my stores seem to tolerate me all along
However barely any 1p or dtd items... only managed the 1p coffee ages ago, some wrapping paper and saucepan set with the kitchen glitch... not too bad :P
