Just got a nice DTD return for the Tesco Finest Meal.

I picked up Japenese Teriyaki Beef Noodles - £4.10
Roasted Potatoes with Bacon and Garlic - £2.00
    Profiterols - £2.00
    Dino Sparkling Spumante - £9.99

The £10 offer did not kick in so got a refund of £16.18

A lovely dinner for the princely sum of £1.91 :j

None of the above items except Profiteroles were available at the 3 stores I have visited this afternoon:( but..... the batteries from the above post were, so picked up 8 packs in each store (you can never have enough batteries) after DTD they work out at 50p per pack.:T:T

Tried this today - didn't work. Had a trout who went out of her way to confirm the noodles are not part of the deal. I asked her where she said what was and she couldn't answer. Emailing CEO for an answer now.

Striped glasses £1.25 each, SEL states 6 for £6 but glasses all stickered up as 4 for £3. Charged £5 for 4 so got £4 DTD back, so 4 glasses ended up costing me just £1. This was in Warrington store.
Found this yesterday so still available , went back today and got another 4 .:j:j

went in my warrington tesco tonight to get the mini wine glitch and got lots! 24 mini wines should of been £52.96 take of £22.96 for offer 4 for £5 then its also took a further £13.24 off for offer 25% off selected wines, but it took the 25% off the orig price of £52.96. so they only cost me £16.76! also Douwe Eggs large coffee sel says £5.99 but scanned at £2.99. bargain!

i saw that in watford today, but the blue board was still there saying they will give dtd if the shelf price is different,

do you think they are trying it on?

Sorry, I haven't got more details on it. It was in Watford as "I been robbed" has said. I didn't read the big blue board but this one was on a small A4 size board sitting on the desk. I assumed it was dtd on store prices. Will check out more when I go on Friday.

I also saw this in the Watford Extra at the weekend. Has anyone followed up on this yet ? Seems like it is only Watford with this new policy ?

I queried DTD with Tesco HO last week by email, and the fact that my local store doesn't have the blue sign up. I had a phone call from HO customer services Friday, and was told that

    1) Blue sign would be reinstated in my store
    2) DTD still applies, hence blue sign going back up.

He didn't answer my enquiry as to whether the DTD was being removed altogether!
