sorry to go off topic, but if you have excess stock you do not want or can use, then why not do shoeboxes at Christmas for those in the armed forces abroad? the ladies most certainly appreciate the luxury brands :)

May well do- good idea. My charming teenager said she thought the menopause would come before I had used them all!

Made me laugh as when I cleared out my 90 year old grannies house she had loads of 1950s sanitary towels!

just got back from Mr T with a few over charges :)

Radox bath therapy has just gone up in price from £1.63 to £1.95, all prices changed except 1, I picked up 4 bottles as Mr A have it on 4 for £3 so I could RTD (was using a DTD voucher to pay).
    difference 32p each x 4 = £1.28 DTD £2.56

Next overprice was Johnsons baby cream pink 300g bottle, SEL £1.86 and £2 through the till (also £1 at Mr A) DTD 28p

in total I got £2.84 plus I will get £5.80 back on Mr T price check:j:j
    bargin!

Been to Tesco today and in the fridge they had 400g strawberries marked on the pack at £1.99 but the shelf edge label said £1.00. Bought a box and they went through at £1.99, went to customer services and got £1.98 DTD refund. CS person removed SEL as the offer expired 6 May. Might be worth looking out for incase they've forgotten to remove them in other stores.

Can I ask a (possibly) silly question. Did the SEL show the date that the offer expired i.e. 6 May. Yesterday my local store had the Gu puddings in a chiller with lots of SELs showing the them to be £1.65, but I didn't buy any as the offer expired on 8.5.11 and that was shown on the SEL (albeit in vv small print). I would have loved to have taken them to the CS desk but worried that they would just point out the date.

    Thanks

You might not get any dtd from now on. There was a notice in my Tesco stating that they have stopped giving dtd from Monday 9 May.

Really? Any more details on that kalsha?
Was it a printed notice saying tesco have ended the policy or a locally produced paper sheet saying that particular have stopped it?
I was in a store today and had to go to CS and didn't see anything about a change....
