You might not get any dtd from now on. There was a notice in my Tesco stating that they have stopped giving dtd from Monday 9 May.

is it worth emailing head office to find out which DtD it refers to, in store or price check???

I had a tip-off from a friend of a friend who is a Tesco Manager ;) to check out Cathedral City Cheese double packs with SEL of £6+ but going through as £2.50, so I checked this out tonight

The ones I found were Cathedral City Mature Twin Pack 2 x 350 g Reclosable packs with SEL of £6.19. I got 2 packs with my shopping using a DTD voucher, and checked they went through as £2.50 so I put them in the car and went back in to get 6 more packs - they had plenty more but I am visiting family in Tyneside and travelling home by train on Thursday - 2 each for my sister, neice and brother and I reckon 2 should travel home OK with me :j :j :j :j

    £2.50 for 700gms Mature Cheddar :j :j :j :j

Really? Any more details on that kalsha?
Was it a printed notice saying tesco have ended the policy or a locally produced paper sheet saying that particular have stopped it?
I was in a store today and had to go to CS and didn't see anything about a change....

Sorry, I haven't got more details on it. It was in Watford as "I been robbed" has said. I didn't read the big blue board but this one was on a small A4 size board sitting on the desk. I assumed it was dtd on store prices. Will check out more when I go on Friday.

I also saw this sign in Watford this morning. Seems like there might be a few of us for whom Watford is their local.
  • Butchers choice 12pk sausages are supposed to be buy 2 for £3, sel in yellow only appeared to advertise just the 8pk but i noticed sel said 8/12 so thought i would give them a try. Got charged full price for both, went to cs and had dtd given back. 24 sausages for £2 :j

I managed to get the last 3 packs of the Cathedral City cheese, good dates on it as well till end of July so thanks for posting about that.

I noticed on the sign at customer service, someone had tried to rub out the bit about DTD but part of it was still showing so people could still argue the point lol!!

  • Just had a nice DTD: Energizer AA or AAA batteries 4 pack, £3.50 each or 2 for £4. Offer didn't kick in so £6.00 DTD for me :) They were not with the batteries, they were in a large cardboard stand at the end of an aisle and the cardboard stand had the offer written on. Hope this helps someone :)

    Profiterols - £2.00
    Dino Sparkling Spumante - £9.99

The £10 offer did not kick in so got a refund of £16.18
