Hi,the other day in mr Ts I was ludky enough to find 4 items that the shelf price stated that they were reduced to 1.50 each .At the checkout I was charged 5.40 each.took them to customer services who then went to the shelf to check ,I went with her.she informed me the barcode's on my items was not the same as they were new stock and the shelf price should have been removed.straight away she TOOK THE PRICE TICKET OFF and said no dtd on these I will have to contact my manager to see if you can have them at the 1.50 each price.in not so many words implied I was lucky to be getting them at this price .I pointed to the sign that STATED the dtd if they charge you an incorrect price and argued for nearly 10 minutes ,manager came, but they would not honour the dtd because the barcode's was not the same.so folks check your barcode's or you may also get no dtd .Typical ts

Complain to head office that they wouldn't honour their own policy and you may get a gift card with the DTD. Worked for others on here. HTH

what a load of codswallop (not what you're saying - but tesco messing up!)

if the item matched the SEL description i.e. same brand, weight/voulume, flavour etc. then you should get DTD! not a 10 minute argument!

email tesco with the problem, you'll be surprised what you'll receive. ;)

Did they give you the items at £1.50 in the end?

Certainly get on the phone to 0800 505 555

DTD is not a policy which each store can opt in and out of at their leisure, it's a nationwide policy which each store has to follow.

You should have got a refund of £7.80 per item. Ring up customer service and tell them about your experience.

Then come back on here and let us know the results.;) Good luck.

I Bought 2 packs of Andrex Aloe Butter Toilet Tissue which were £4.99 each with SEL of 2 for £7 (which was next to something else) - discount didn't go through so got £5.96 back on DTD - works out at £4.02 for 2 packs of 8.

small square box 15x15cm, age 7-12 orange sand buggy on the front.

I'm curious whether anyone has recently bought the packs of 15 x 275ml bottles of San Miguel lager as part of the 2 for £16 deal at Tesco.

The packs are showing as £12 each online and are no longer part of the 2 for £16 deal. However they are still labelled as part of the deal in store.

** These packs are showing as included in the renewed version of the 2 for £16 offer that starts on March 21st at Tesco. So if there was a DTD opportunity, it looks like it will end.
