    Hi all,
First grabbit - hope I get all the pertinent info...!

This relates to the Ready Brew Italian Roast (Red Packet) 3 x 2.3g instant coffee.

They are £1.39 on the shelf in the 'coffee isle'.
They are also on offer in the '£1 shop' ( or are at least in the Store near the M42, Shirley).
They go through the till at £1.39 and I bought 5.

    £0.39 x 5 x 2(double the difference) means each of the 5 packets cost £0.61...£0.20 a brew...nice!

Hope someone else can also enjoy...
  • In Tescos this morning. Bostick 'white' Blu-tack 50p on shelf label (next to 'blue' blu-tack at £1). Charged £1 at till. CS refunded me DTD ie £1. So got item for FREE!!!

    :-)

so i'm going to ask another cheeky question

do you guys deliberately not check your prices at the till because of DTD?

ok so if you've got alot of shopping it can be difficult but what if you only have a few items
before i discovered this forum (!) and didn't know about DTD i used to check how much i was being charged as it is going through the till, from what you guys are saying dare i suggest it is worth keeping shtum if you realise at the till you've been overcharged???

Definitely keep stum if you realise that you have been overcharged at the till. You can still watch the prices through, just don't say anything if you are overcharged. Pack your shopping and pay as normal, reset grin, proceed to Customer Services desk (trying to take a route that includes going outside the store just in case they try bieng peculiar (slight problem with that a while ago), and say that you seem to have been overcharged on this. They will go off and check the price, you should go with them if you can so they do not hide the SEL (yes, it has been done), say you will show them where it is, and then they will try to fob you off with a refund of the difference, which is when you point to the blue board at the back of theh CS desk and say "but doesn't that say double the difference".

    Good luck and enjoy.
