:eek:Not a misprice but 1p Advent calenders, I got two peppa pig ones, thought the chocolate could be given to the kids.
Went through till and she took em off me had DD with me and thought it was a bit harsh as my two kids were looking forward to these and bearing in mind it was only two! Told her I thought she was a bit unfair as for the two kids and she said no Ive taken all stuff thats a penny. Grabbed them off the back of the till and told DD to see her dad with them. She then refused to take my sale and I gave her the money which she finally accepted and let me go!! Anyway stormed out of shop with my shopping and noticed the Ole bag had still charged me. DD came out and told me Dad and chucked em in the freezer cabinet so I went back in and went through self service and it was fine....thinking now I will probably be banned from store because of 2 x 1p advent calendars which I paid double for!!!Jan 2011 £10 Sports Direct, Football and 442 Subscription. Lindt Chocolate and a Camera and makeup.:j0 -
Can anyone point me to the DTD policy on tesco as i have been overcharged on fuel and wondered if it applied.
Please see my post on Shop but dont drop forum.
Cheers

Yes, it applies. Several years back - in those fabled Good Old Days, there were several instances of this.
Just check out the Para., 3rd from bottom, written in white on the royal blue Promise chart. You'll see it as an A5 flyer and a big A1 wall card at Customer Service. Look for the sentence which begins ' In the unlikely event that things don't add up........' Better though, is to read it in this Thread, posted manymanymanymany, infinitely many, times.

On Blu-Ray:
Rock N Rolla - yellow sticker £7 - scans at £12.
300 yellow sticker £8 - scans at £13.
Good to see that after all these years Tesco PI remains pants.

I've only just started to understand this DTD thing, and realised that, last year I got 2 books that were BOGOF at £2.99 and realised in the car that theyd charged me for both! Sent OH in and he came back with a £5.98 refund which I was miffed but chuffed about. There was no mention of DTD and I had no idea it even existed nor did OH. Must've been a very generous CS lady lol. Shame they are not all like this from what I have read0

hi sorry i am a newbie and had no idea about the DTD thing,
does anyone know if asda have the same policy? they are always making mistakes at the till at least one each time i shop there, also they used to do refund and replace and last time i took back some rotten fruit/veg i asked the CS when they used the R&R she siad it was only for certain products like the extra special, was she just trying to fob me off?

Asda policy was always a refund of the overcharge and a Asda giftcard for £2 for each item overcharged......
I have no idea if this remains the case......

Not quite. Yougot back dtd which is 12.63 x 2 = 25.26, but you have already paid £30.63.
So duvet cover cost you 30.63 - 25.26 = 5.370 -
