I threw 600 pots of Garlic Capsules out yesterday, and a few "out of date" Haliborange....... but the rest will keep

Can somebody please remind me why we collected this Garlic.......I know it was something to do with the type of coupon we were using.....

My friends had most of my garlic to decorate their wedding tables!

There was a sheet of 4 coupons (peachy pink colour- remember?) . 1 coupon with £2.50 off a £10 spend on H+B, 1 coupon with 50 points on any spend on vitamins, 2 coupons with 100 points on £4 spend on H+B.

There was a quit kit for smokers from the pharmacy which had £2 off £8 H+B spend coupon and 50 points for £2.50 spend on heatlh.

There was a healthy living pack again from the pharmacy which had the same coupons.

And they all worked on the same transaction. :j A £10 spend meant any combination you wanted of points and money off. The £10 spend didn't have to be an actual £10 spend as it was £10 before BOGOF.

Garlic capsules were 32p per pot. You could use 1 50 point coupon per bottle bought. I can't see these days ever returning...

Am flummoxed though as to what you mean by HB? Do you mean 20 crates of H+B items? Full of Radox, Sanex, handwash no doubt :D

    Good result yesterday:

Purchased a Panasonic twin cordless digital home phone set with a SEL of £29.99 reduced from £69.99 (I may have noticed the SEL was out of date on the 17/10/10). Scanned at £69.99 so went to customer service and queried the problem. Followed staff member to Shelf and pointed out the offer price and she agreed I was entitled to a refund. Offered me £40 refund but I pointed to the Our promise board concerning DTD. She agreed without question and refunded me £80. Therefore paid £10 to take the phones away only wish mrs would have let me buy more when I noticed the out of date SEL.

Yes its all coming back to me now....I now remember the "hundreds of coupons i used to steal (well they were "free")....(took a full box of 550 one day..on a fishing trip in the Cambridge area....)

One night the security guy stopped me, as he thought i was shoplifting...he took a full box of "quit packs" off me,and gave me 1 back claiming, that "free" meant 1...not the whole box...

Yes HB.....Ive now only got 20 boxes left....mainly Dove now tho....long gone is my Plax lake etc....(i had 600 of those.....down to about 30 now)...I'll have to read through my posts around that time, to remind myself of exciting times...I remember doing 100+ transactions in my surrounding stores in a week...
    Couponing....."every little hurts"
