I bought 3 pairs of ladies pyjamas today which were £8 each and should have been 3 for 2, but I got charged £24 as the 3 for 2 didn't kick in.
DTD £16, so 3 pairs for £8 :T:T. Mind you I had to insist on the DTD as my local only gives it if you ask for it .0 -

Tescos get on my nerves.. I had so much trouble with them not accepting coupons and also staff watching me like a hawk when on the self-service tills and not letting me do a price check etc etc that I have switched to Morrisons or Asda. You don't get the points or coupons, but prices, value and quality are so much better in these stores. My bill is a lot lower yet the choice and value are as good if not better than Tescos. Tescos would like everyone to think that they are the best and give the best offers but personally I don't think they do!0

Sorry for the delay. I bought pale blue top (naughty but nice logo)cream with blue stars bottoms, pink top (laze logo)/pink and grey tartan bottoms and white and pink top (beware grumpy before coffee logo)/pink with white spots bottoms. HTH
I tried this today but all went through at proper price and no 2 for 3 or DTD as charged exactly as priced, so paid for them then took them back as i thought i could use a £5 off £25 spend on womens clothing, but apparently not valid on nightwear so i had a good excuse to get my money back.
Thanks OP anyway was definately worth a go xxVery proud to be Strip club member No 430 -
I did a shop at Tescos today and found an anomaly.
In a reduced basket, they were selling bags of minstrels down to 70p from £1.00 with big yellow REDUCED stickers on and a reduced barcode. I took 3 bags.
When I self scanned them they were fiddly, 2 went through as 70p and one wouldn't scan so I was turning the bag around in different directions to get it through and it eventually scanned and went through £1. I saw it go through and thought fair enough, I don't mind cos I'll get DTD.
When I went to the CS and said it had scanned at £1 instead of 70p, the CS girl said oh yes that's because it read the original barcode and sure enough on that particular pack of sweets the whole length of the original barcode was just visible. At one end there was only 1 mm of black line and at the other end was about 2mm. So I said why didnt it read the reduced barcode and she said the laser had read the original barcode first. eg. I'd scanned it flat, slowly and as soon as it read the first barcode over the scanner, that was the one it chose.
This happened to me before a while back on reduced fruit where it read the original barcode not the reduced one, but I didn't notice til I'd got home.
So got DTD of 60p back, but thats not the point. I'm not going to say anymore as I think most of you can work it out !;)Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

My local tesco won't accept printed online vouchers e.g. the free airwick candle
I told him that Tesco definately accepts printed vouchers, and he said that that store doesn't.
I then asked why all of the Tesco's around the country accept them but not that store, and he said he doesn't know why and walked off
Should I complain to the store manager or head office?0 -

You need to pop over to this thread - you will find all the rules on coupon acceptance and what to do if your branch will not accept the coupons. You will also find a direct link to Sir Terry Leahy the ceo of Tesco.
