I won't be about for a couple of weeks now as we're away North tomorrow night. Mum is cat-sitting, so the place is not to be allowed to go completely MSE-free in my absence! The packing is pretty much done, just need to load everything into the car tomorrow night and we're done!

I'm back!!! Thanks for all your good wishes - the weather was changeable to say the least - we had everything from snow, hail and gale force winds to beautiful bright sunny days! Had a truly superb time though as always up there. and also some interesting chats with some people we know there who have done exactly the same as we want to do - moving up from the South East of England. Very enlightening and all of a sudden now it feels more possible now than it did before, if that makes sense?
