How? They will give me 89p some weeks and 0p other times because they look at my partners wage slips of a whopping £65 a week.

You do realise that you have linked your personal email address (via a blueyonder linked web address) on this site - you can be traced via this. UInless you want to risk someone here reporting you for benefit fraud, I'd reconsider what you chose to post on here.

But she does work 16 hours a week. Some weeks she will do 20 hours, others 14.

According to HMRC, she is eligible.

Going to CAB tomorrow anyway and seeing what they say.

Not on blueyonder any more and i'm not claiming this, my partner is. I haven't lived here that long and that's why i'm on here asking about this and why we are going to CAB tomorrow.

According to what i have read, the only thing that we are not entitled to is the childcare element.

Isnt it the hours you are CONTRACTED to work not actually?

And what about the childcare element you dont pay but claim for :confused:

I hope you realise that the CAB have a legal duty to inform the DWP/HMRC of any benefit fraud!

Actually asked what the average hours worked are, which is 16.

    Andy
  • According to tax credits her normal hours must be 16+ per week.

This is NOT averaged out over the year. If this was the case she could work 32 hours a week for 6 months then take 6 months off.

The hours is not the only issue here - the childcare costs are also an issue.
You have blatently lied in order to get more money.

To qualify for help towards childcare you must both be working, it sounds like you havent told TCO you have stopped working or you just arent telling us about your £25k a year job.

Or maybe you/your partner havent told TCO you have moved in with her.
