Hi, I've been reading this thread with interest. I too would like to make a bride and groom for my wedding cake. When you say 'stuffed' with foil - are they baked with the foil inside? And as for holding head on with cocktail stick, is it also baked inside? Sound like really good ideas!

Would a 25g pack of each colour be enough to make a 5inch bride and groom, assuming I stuff' it with foil to save on clay? Or would I be better with 56g packs? I was going to just get one pack of each colour needed.

I know someone who had bride, groom and their cat as a Fimo cake topper... it's something I may well do for ours when we get hitched (how to make a three-legged cat out of Fimo will be interesting) because I used to play with the stuff a lot as a kid.

Well, it worked for me using 1 small pack of each colour. Post some pics when you've made them! :D

Will do! If I wanted to make kilt from tartan ribbon, could that be attached and baked or should it be attached after do you think?

This is the site that I'm thinking about getting it from. Think someone else recommended it.
