Blogging for a second income - does anyone else here do this?

I have noticed no difference in traffic from directories. A lot of my traffic comes from a few high ranking forum posts that I added a link to my blog to on the bottom and I have been getting a lot of extra traffic through Facebook as my blog has a page on there with 450ish fans and I use it to promote the blog on other various pages related to my blog. But most of it comes through Google, when you search certain related words and names I am at the top.I'm up to about £60 a month on Adsense now and I blog about once a fortnight for an hour or two, the existing posts get lots of traffic.0

I have however been bookmarking my articles in StumbleUpon which is sending some traffic. I don't know what that traffic is doing at the moment but once I have a bit more traffic and a measurable period I'll know
I'll have to give that a go, when I get around to it, thanks.
I am far too interested in my blog stats - I find them fascinating. Today, I'm looking at pageviews by browser... all the usual suspects are there but what on earth are PhantomJS and Flipboard? I think Firebird and SeaMonkey are mozilla builds but I'm off to google them to check! lol0 -
I know. I have been with Adsense now for 6 years and make few thousand each month through them. They have to have a damn good reason to drop me as I have never cheated them in all that time so why would I begin now, especially given that I make significant amount? It would be crazy and completely irrational on my part to start cheating them now.
It happens to lots of people for no particular reason:

How are your blogs going, this week?0 -
My fitness blog I started a while ago is getting about 40 hits a day but not making any money yet.
Have a look at this article for some tips:

I am still blogging for fun!
I was looking at my stats and it is really interesting to see what search terms led people to my blog!0 -
Well, I got turned down for AdSense but its fine, I prefer putting YouTube clips up
I really need to knuckle down and write more!

I agree. That's one of my favourite blog related things - browsing the search logs. Some of the recent search terms are a tad dubious e.g. "finger fun"... Mind you, some of the historic search terms include "stockroom assistant", "lacey clothes" and "pirate xxx".
I actually blog about perfectly innocuous knitting patterns.I must disappoint quite a lot of people! lol

That's a shame.I can't understand why you'd be declined.
