Hi juice,
I already have a blog but that's more personal than profitable, it's about my journey out of debt which I just started.
I'm interested in a niche blog to make a little money, I was thinking about a saving or making money blog. I think those are two subjects a lot of people are interested in right now.
Do you think a free blog would get as much attention as a paid for blog i.e has it own domain?
I think it's easier to build up a blog "brand" with a domain, but there are plenty around that just use blogger or wordpress?0 -
You make it sound sooo depressing. :rotfl:It's much more positive than that, although I've only just started so let's see how it goes.Erm, what are you writing about, Endless Struggle?I think it's easier to build up a blog "brand" with a domain, but there are plenty around that just use blogger or wordpress?
I've started a free blog on Wordpress, if it goes anywhere I can always upgrade easily.0 -
Exactly, no point shelling out for a domain if it ends up that you don't like it/keep it updated.0

I have come back to blogging again to try and make abit of money on the side. I started up a blog nearly 2 years ago that was starting to generate regular money through adsense (I posted in this thread alot back then), but when I was randomly banned I got massively disheartened and gave up.
I have started up 2 new blogs with .com domains, purely with the intentions to make money.
They are both very niche and I am quite confident about them, it's just going to take abit of time. I have learnt a huge ammount about SEO and internet marketing since my first attempt so I will keep you updated.0 -
