    Agreed!! :T:rotfl:
  • Hi Amandaf

Just visited your blog and it's quite impressive, I'm just surprised that it taken you that long to earn the amount you've mentioned and especially when you have a passion for what you're doing (which always helps).

Combining your web design skills with your passion for blogging should enable you to make more money than you're currently earning, so maybe rethinking your strategy and developing a new approach for 2012 is worth considering (I hope this doesn't sound cheeky?).

One of the ways in which you could top up your skills in by using the site fiverr.com. It's all the rage right now and it a place were buyers and sellers buy and sell there services for $5 minus $1 commission and there is certainly a demand for the type of work you're a doing.

    All the best

Bullet1.gif We crawl your website finding all of its pages, including pages that can't be found by search engines' crawlers, to create an XML Sitemap and SEO dashboard report.

Bullet2.gif We submit your XML Sitemap directly to the XML interface of major search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, Bing and Ask— plus help you find and fix SEO errors.

Bullet3.gif The search engines use your XML Sitemap to drive more qualified traffic to your site by indexing more pages in search results.
The basic plan is free and I started using it today, very informative. IMO :D

My account was set up through my host provider but you should get all the same info as me. If you don't, please let me know and I will provide it for you.

Thanks for that, emlou - I've renamed my blog, and once Christmas and doing the accounts and paperwork are over, I'm definitely going to be putting a *lot* of effort in.

Ok so I have put loads of time into my profit only blog. Posted up some content pumped with affiliate links/amazon associates links, and will continue to write unique content each day. Have sorted all the backend of the blog such as SEO etc etc.

Also set up a twitter account linked with my blog, which has gained 400 followers in just a day which I'm really happy about. I don't expect to see any earnings for a long time yet, but I'm quietly confident this will become a nice little earner.

Currently using a newish SEO method to gain huge amounts of quality traffic and it seems to be working well so far.

    Will keep you posted

Ewaf, you're allowed to put a link to your blog as your home page on your mse account. I must say, I'm starting to get a little doubtful when people don't do that - its a really basic thing... sorry if that offends you, I really am, I don't know you personally, but thats how I'm feeling right now.

I know I can, I've been around for quite a while believe it or not. I use to have my blog in my profile and it's good for getting a slither of extra traffic, but have removed it for now for various reasons.

    Thanks for your concern though.
