OMG I never ordered a takeaway, honest! Was really organised with my meals this weekend (so far) to avoid temptation, and just now there was a knock at my door (what a blooming fright I got at this time of night too) ...............and guess what? Yeah, it was a takeaway from the chinese! We never ordered it so I had to send him away! So some poor sod is sitting waiting for their chinese meal to arrive! LOL

Hey I know im new but is it too late to join?

I really need to get out of debt so im quiting smoking and Takeaways.

I usually spend £5 a day on cigs
And have a takeaway probably 5 times a week  usually when im out and get a macyDs or the kids have been driving me nuts so order a curry when they finally sleep!

There the best things to give up, im pretty much T-total with drink so above are my weekness!

Bet your thinking "greedy cow" :p

I've now gone 2 days without takeaway ! Today has been fine but lastnight was sooooo hard. I had a friend round and she kept talkin about food. I was having a NSD so couldn't have had one anyways and managed to talk her out of having one too. Not that it would matter to her spending £5 on a kebeb coz she's still got her head in the sand.

I'm not thinking greedy cow atall. you just sound normal !! At least you know where your weakness lies and you're starting to deal with it!
I'd imagine it's going to be hard for you as I've found it hard already and don't have takeaways too much to begin with. Good luck though, you can do it!

If you put the amount of days you have done in bold or colour then I'll update it, hard to spot in normal colour text. I'll do the same for mine from now on too :D

Hi, I started this on 1 May and I am now on 3/31 takeaway free! All fine and no temptations. Food bought for the week and away we go!

Hope the fish and chips temptation doesn't kick in after a bad day at work!

I am very late but can I join??

I recently realised that a huuuuge chunk of my income every month was going on takeaways / eating out.

Have been really good recently but yesterday went to garden centre. Asked son if wanted a sandwich before we went out but he said no and I couldn't be bothered either. Lo and behold the garden centre was right next to a McDonalds and we were both starving by then. Funny thing was we seem to have got a bit used to homecooked food because an hour after the McD's we were both starving again!!!!

So please sign me up and I'll aim to keep takeaway free until the end of the month so day 1/29 is a success so far

Well done everyone so far. Got through the weekend without a takeaway, so that's good. Just counting for May so for me it's

    3/31success!
