    Another NSD here today :beer::beer:

Feeling very chuffed as usually I would have spent £80 by now. Tomorrow should be another NSD too but on Friday I need to do a Lidl run.

    Afternoon all

Well its tipping it down here :rolleyes:good job I tucked my tomato plants and cucumbers up under bubble wrap and fleece :p

Anyway -I have Thrown some lamb chops in the remoska -roasted them off and stripped the meat off and have now added some chunks of potatoe, carrot and onions -going to add peas and thicken it later and then add some lumpadings and steam some broccoli nomnomnom...and now the bones are in a pan making a bit of stock for the freezer :D

I have checked what I need this week and it comes to :-
    • 3lt fresh milk
    • iceberg
    • carrots
    • apples
    • oranges
and I think that is it for the week :Tshould come to no more than €5 :jI will stay away from temptation by letting hubby pick the bits up on his way home from work on Friday ;)
When I went into the basement freezer I was quite thrilled that it is slowly running down...still enough stuff to keep us going -but Im hoping that I will have lots of produce growing over the next few months so I want to make space for them -hope its not just wishfull thinking :p

right I will get off and get something done -hope everyone is doing well....

Congratulations :D, hope you are not feeling too ill. Hubby and toddler need to be waiting on you hand and foot lol!

We are doing ok this month. Our month now runs 15th to 15th (or thereabouts if 15th is a weekend day!). Not counting each penny exactly but trying to be 'good'. Been to Lidl a couple of times and their prices seem better again. Lacking ideas for meal plans though so need to get back to reading the meal planning thread properly.
Enjoying lurking and reading all your posts.
    Hope all are well.

    Hello everyone

Can't believe I have spent £67 already but that was my butcher meat for the month as well so might be ok. I have meal planned for this week and sticking to it so far and I should only need a top up shop this week although I have run out of nearly everything I need for baking! But I am making a list of things i run out of and its on the fridge door so I will use that as my list. I have put it all in my online basket and now just debating on if I have the will power to go to tesco with the list or just get the cheapest delivery! :o

The weather here has been miserable for the last few days but the upside of that is I have had 5 NSD in a row!

Hope everyone else is doing well with their budgets!
    xx

Haven't been really following the thread as I get too caught up in all the chatting and then don't get on with things at home so excuse me if I missed something.

Just updated my signature and even tho its looking a little worrying considering we are only 6 days into the month I have restocked my freezer with mince and chicken, and stocked up some of the other basics which have run low so hoping to still come in on target

I spent £80.02 in Aldi yesterday. That means I have spent half my budget but hopefully I will only need to buy fresh ingredients now. I don't need any laundry or cleaning or loo rolls this month.
