    Evening all!
After my pledge to not spend much at Mr Ts today I managed £41!!!!

BUT in my defense I decided not to go shopping next weekend as I'm away from MOn- Thur with work and have effectively bought 2 weeks supplies - OH doesn't seem to be bothered about F&V apart from spuds when I'm away!

Mr Ts had half price sea bass fillets (got 2 big ones for £2.40), also got reduced salmon fillets for the freezer (OH), chicken, gammon steak (OH - see a theme emerging here?!), plenty of tins, frozen chips, fruit, veg and bread and milk and toiletries.

Means that my total is now approx £56 but I'm not shopping next weekend and OH can pick up his own bread and milk as he needs it so hopefully I'll be within budget for where we'll be in the month?!

Meal plan for this week is now...

Lasagne and salad (meat for OH, veggie for me)
Sweet potato, curry, rice and naan
    Chilli and rice
Gammon, egg and chips (for OH) veggie substitute for me
    Fish, new potatoes and peas
Pie and chips for OH, veggie stuff and wedges for me

That takes us up to next weekend and then we start all over again!

By the way, I bought the £1.00ish pack of 8 fresh cumberland sausages from Aldi and fed them to OH today as part of a "fry up" not telling him where they were from (food snob that doesn't cook!) and he declared they were really nice and better than the Finest ones from Mr Ts that I usually get him. Good saving and they were well accepted - may help someone else with a fussy OH!

A NSD yesterday and OH is also starting to get OS - bartered with a friend and came home with a dozen eggs:j
Another lovely day ahead - the veg plot is doing pretty well, will soon have a steady supply of lettuce for the summer.
    Enjoy the sunshine everyone!

Well despite me saying I was going to have 3 NSDs in a row, I ended up spending £39 at Mr Ts yesterday. This is going to be harder than I thought. In my defence tho I did meal plan and hopefully this will be the majority of the weekly shop. Apart from a couple of birthdays looming when I'll need to get presents, I don't plan to spend any more this week.

    Hi all!

Total spend for yesterday was £52.32. This includes £9.07 for Cat Litter, as well as (List time!):

    On my list

Large box of supermarket Bran Flakes
2 x boxes of supermarket Muesli
    Cat food x 2 boxes
    Peanut butter
    Carrots
Plastic tubs for storing leftovers x 2 (Small ones)
    Ham for sandwiches x 2
    Onions
    Cat biscuits
    Freezer bags
    Heinz ketchup x 2 (2 for £3)
    Milk
    Gravy granules
    Brown sauce
    Mayonnaise
    Tinned sweetcorn (Value) x 4
    Tinned tomatoes (Value) x 12 :D
Tinned kidney beans (Value) x 4
    Condensed soup x 4

    Not on my list
    Pasta sauce x 1
    Brioche
    Yoghurt x 7
    Biscuits (Value)x2
    Cat treats
    Washing up bowl

Total spend in Asda was £43.25 and I think I did quite well on the stuff that wasn't on my list originally. We did need a new washing up bowl and it was only 92p. The yoghurts were Muller ones and were 20p, so bargain there :D My total spend on non-list items was £6.21 and it is all stuff that will be used. If I don't bring home some kind of biscuit/chocolate then t'other half looks so sad :rotfl:Apologies for the massive post, but it helps keep me on track if I can see where every penny has gone.

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday!

Bright but breezy day here dh and ds2 gone off to work for a couple of hours, chicken and spuds roasting individual triffles made with strawberries from freezer setting in fridge, scones for 4 o'clock cake in the oven (mil comes to dinner on sundays at 2 and them we have cake at 4 dont ask! but its been going on so long its habbit) and the punnet of strawberries I was given yesterday is happily turning into jam to go with the sones.
