You cannot get swine flu from eating pork.
As for all the talk about Pork, we are having Roast Pork on Sunday, already purchased from the Butcher before this story hit the news, as I plan ahead and we always have a roast on a Sunday and alternate the weeks with Chicken, Pork, Beef & Lamb. The Pork is British and we're not worried about eating it.:oLOL.

Did a small shop yesterday at Aldi and Coopland's £10.37, and then DH got up too late to make his sandwich today and informs me he's spent £5! :eek:A penny saved is a penny earned.

Afternoon all
Hubby is away today -Playing 2 rounds of golf so heck knows what state he will be in when he gets back :rotfl:..... He wasn't sure what time he would be back so told me to just feed myself and he would stop off for a gyros (kebab like thing
) on his way home... I managed to "head him off at the pass" by saying I was going to make a remoska full of chilli for the freezer "and should I leave him some out for me to warm up when he gets in?" pointed out that it would save him €8 from his spends
... he jumped at the chance :j by eck he has got it ....6 years of marriage -but we have got there
-so much so that he has told them not to order meals for him when he plays golf away -as he would rather take home made bread with cheese salad on :j -that saves him another €8-€10 ...he now thinks to pick up the cheaper bottles of energy drink at ALDI €1.49 for 6 -not in the NAAFI at about €1.40 each
So today I have made the chilli and some fresh bread...
Lunch was a bowl of mushy peas
I really fancied them
and Im having cheese salad sandwiches for dinner nomnomnom
I have got more beans and things set today ....so I should now get 65 dwarf bean plants (if they all make it) :rotfl:
Tomorrow is a bank holiday -so no chance of spending anything for me :T..hopefully it will be dry enough to get some more tomatoes and cucumbers planted out
Ok Im waffling -again
-have a great evening all -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Me to, I put it down to sods law (can I say that), it happens once a week okay twice a week. Reasons - well done shopping and saving money & well done bringing packed lunch into work and saving money.

Right!!! After looking at every single item in my freezer and every tin/packet/sachet in my cupboards I have made a decision to set myself £70 for the month for food. That is for 2 adults. I am very nervous as I have an addiction to buying food, hence my massive stockpile of food :embarasse
Also have quite a stockpile of toiletries so am setting a budget of £10 for us. Also a £15 budget for household stuff, definately need toilet roll. Normally buy a big pack so is about £8 so have a little bit left for any other bits we may need.
Could be an interesting month!:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j
