Strange problem

That's a bit tight feedback does actually matter as i am a buyer aswell as a seller and if i'm buying something and the person has no feedback or very little then i don't buy from them same goes for bad feedback score i won't buy if the person has lots of bad feedback it benefits other buyers if you leave feedback so you ain't helping buy not leaving any kind of feedback.
Feedback doesn't matter one jot. Ever since ebay changed the feedback rules, feedback is meaningless. As a seller I wouldn't be chasing for feedback, if the buyer has a problem they will soon be in touch. They may be intentionally not leaving feedback as they are unhappy with the item, but not enough to make an issue about it. Your email may just push them into leaving a neg. Is that better than no feedback at all?
Are you telling me, if somebody was selling the bargain of the year but only had 5 feedback you wouldn't buy from them?? Champion, more bargains for the rest of us.
BTW if she does dispute receiving the straighteners, you will have to refund the £80 and you will have lost the straighteners. As a seller you should know the correct method of posting higher value items.:j30/7/10:j

On the other hand if someone leaves you bad or neutral feedback because you asked the once then surely you could leave them bad/neutral feedback works both ways unless the rules have changed.
Sellers can no longer leave neutral or negative feedback. You really should know this plus more if you plan to sell with little risk to yourself:j30/7/10:j

Got a message from seller "can you leave feedback".
Ignored.
Got another message "CAN YOU RETURN FEEDBACK??"
He got his feedback. :rolleyes:Cards were damaged and poorly packaged (btw, feedback is voluntary)
He's now whinging at me (again in all caps)This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -
I wouldn't pester for feedback i would just kindly ask the once and that's it.

Anyway back to the original post it's not the feedback i was bothered about it was if she received them that was worrying me.
Sellers haven't been able to leave feedback for quite a while.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -

This message is to remind those buyers who have unintentionally forgotten to leave feedback, not to pester sellers like you who have clearly no intention of leaving feedback, as it has already been a few weeks since you recieved the item.
I am actually keen to get more positive feedback, as I am trying to get ebay to remove the limits on my account. So it does matter "a jot" to me.
If I got a neg, it would have to be a particularly malicious buyer as I am a good seller. But it's a choice you make and a risk you take by selling on ebay. No point crying over spilt milk.Wins: Avene Protective Hydrating Cream; 2 x Calvin harris Tickets @ iTunes Festival.

It really annoys me when sellers pester for feedback, if they do so it almost certainly makes me not leave them any at all!0

I agree, pestering is not the way to get a favourable response! However I do not see a single email a few weeks down the line counts as pestering. Neither do most of my buyers, judging by their responses.Wins: Avene Protective Hydrating Cream; 2 x Calvin harris Tickets @ iTunes Festival.

I hate it when sellers go on at me for feedback, in fact it almost guarantees that I won't do it. And I am a seller too, and can understand that you almost feel hurt when you don't get it, but best to just try and ignore it.0

I thought the DSRs had some effect on your search standing though?
Must admit, I don't understand people being arsy about being "pestered". I send a polite "just making sure you're happy with your item?" type message after 2-3 weeks if the buyer hasn't left any feedback, and so far no problems. (I wouldn't send more than one message thou, in case I ran into some of you lot)

Yes, but didn't the OP say that they had sent several messages? That would annoy me for sure, it's harrassment!0
