Strange problem

I sold some GHD straightners on ebay a few weeks back all went well i spoke to the lady that bought them she said she had sent payment so i checked my paypal account and all the money was there, so a few days later i posted the item this was nearly 2 weeks ago i have sent several emails to the lady asking if she got them and can she leave me feedback and i've had no reply or feedback.

I find this very strange and i'm worried she hasn't got them has anyone else ever had this problem

The only problem really that you have is that you have got no feedback. My advice would be to NOT contact the poor buyer anymore, you would have heard soon enough if she hadn't got them.

As for asking for feedback it is very frowned upon and there are buyers who willl eave a non positive with the statement 'here is the feedback you pestered me for'. Feedback is voluntary, just assume all is well and move onto the next sale.

Just remember to keep all your proof of postings though for 6 months minimum in case of problems later.

Maybe she's gone on holiday or something.
I would say it's up to her to contact you if there's a problem, so wouldn't worry about it.
She hasn't messaged you to tell you a problem, or left you bad feed back so I would just assume it's all fine. :)

I've currently got 88 items from the last 60 days that haven't had feedback left for them. It happens, the best thing to do is concentrate on your future sales, and not worry so much about your past ones.

If there'd been a problem, you'd probably have heard about it by now.

She could at least reply and say she received them common decency and all, if someone sent me several emails i would at least reply saying i got them.

I hope she doesn't try and say she hasn't received them in a few weeks
  • Did you send via trackable means? If you did then you could always check for proof of delivery online?

  • Ah. I don't know what to suggest then, sorry.

She's not obliged to leave feedback, and asking people for feedback will probably annoy them! If you sent them standard first class, then you can't check if they arrived, and if she claims it doesn't, then you don't have a leg to stand on and will have to take the loss.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • How much did they sell for? GHDs should've probably gone by special delivery.

And it's very common for people not to leave feedback, don't sweat. Be glad they haven't left you a negative.

She might be on holiday, she might be ill, she might have internet problems........

I'm sure you'd have heard if there was a problem. No news is good news, so they say :)

I have to admit - being pestered to leave feedback really annoys me and if I were to be asked more than once I wouldn't leave it at all. I wouldn't leave a neg, I'm not that petty, but I certainly wouldn't leave a glowing pos once I'd been bugged into it.
